This looks promising. No DV but I know you are a Samsung fan. It’s also cheaper with more dimming zones.
The X95K also disabling local dimming for VRR is a bit of a concern, but not a huge one right now. Should more and more games start using the tech in the way Insomniac is though, then it becomes an issue for me.

These two are my leading candidates still with the QN90B probably ahead now with the conflicting reports on the X95K until we can get more detailed reports of the 85” and I can see it in person. I’ve had eyes on the QN90B a couple times now and its an impressive tv. I actually helped a friend set up an 85” QN90A last night so its a good reference for me in a home setting instead of store floor.

The QN95B sounds to be a step up but $6,000 MSRP is insane and likely means no lower than $4,000+ during the holidays. I’m not going over $3,500 and even that is a bit of a stretch.
