Is this a bug or intended feature with advanced search. I want to exclude TV shows falling under a certain genre, such as anime, to only see movies of the anime type on Blu-ray.

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/search.php

There is a checkbox "Television". Even when not checked, there are anime TV show results, that are marked as "TV" on the main title page.

For example, https://www.blu-ray.com/Giarlish-Number/823145/ is in the results, but it is TV.

I've noticed something lately. Whenever I submit a Synopsis for a bundle that describes the collection, it doesn't appear when the other submissions are accepted. I don't receive a rejection email, it just doesn't go through on any bundle lately. Something wrong with the system or are bundles to not have a synopsis for some reason now?

I would like to make a couple of requests for changes to "People" pages:

1. Please include bundles on listed peoples' various releases tabs. Right now it only includes singular releases.
2. Currently, if someone is, say, both an actor in and the writer of a movie, that movie might only show up in one section. See page 2 of Robert Duvall's "Movies" tab, for example. He both wrote and starred in The Apostle, but the film only shows up in his "Writer" section. This seems to, for the most part, apply to media releases tabs as well.

I see that my second request has been partially granted; thank y’all! However, now it shows Robert Duvall as having no writing credits. Personally, I’d rather still have that section, and just have titles be repeated, if necessary. So, for example, Rocky II would show up in Sylvester Stallone’s Cast, Writing, and Directing sections!

Also, I was wondering if there is a way to use the site to look up only steelbook releases. Like the release calendar, but filtered for that packaging.

I was able to fix that part by re arranging the cast on those movies. It seems to use whichever he is added first as. But sometimes it doesn't.

But it never seems to show all on the movies page. But it does on the last page of Blu-ray. https://www.blu-ray.com/Robert-Duvall/67069/#Bluray
Hopefully it can be fixed someday.

There use to be a SteelBook option. But I think it was removed because it was causing issues or something.

Is the retailer information besides Amazon visible on a title’s blu-ray page? Does adding the information for the other retailers do anything?

Yes. To see info for Best Buy, add ?retailerid=2 to the end of the URL. Example:

MoviesUnlimited.com needs to be added to the retailers list... possibly ImportCDs.com and PopMarket.com, two more DirectToU stores but, unlike MU and deepdiscount and blowitouttahere, they are mostly for music but they do have movies as well.

Since my film rating preference are IMDb ratings, I've noticed for some time that most (if not all) IMDb ratings listed with the blu-ray and DVD releases here are incorrect. In some cases even miles off, most likely outdated.

Are the IMDb ratings suppose to update automatically here? Just wondering how this works and if this can be fixed.
