I'm sure if anyone saw a movie before all the hype it could be funnier/better

I'm considering blind buying this movie but I'm not sure. It seems funny but I'm still undecided
Take it from me. Its hilarious, the funniest movie ever, you can't not love it, they'll never make a funnier movie! Oops! Hope I didn't hype it up too much for you.

People said the same thing about There's Something About Mary, but I hated it

That said, I'm looking forward to HTTM.

This scene had me laughing so hard for some reason. I love how ridiculous this movie is.

[Show spoiler]Jacob: "Do I really gotta be the ******* who says we got in this thing and went back in time?"
Nick: "It must be some kinda... hot tub time machine." [Looks directly into the camera]

Pure ridiculousness!
My fave was when Cordry said to the girl:
[Show spoiler]"I am really great at getting head"

Thats literally one of the best lines ever!

Default Faulty disc

The first copy I bought was fine. I had the same problem (no 'extras' tab) when I bought a second copy for $10 on 'Black Friday" from amazon. Very strange. Cannot select which version to watch or access any special features.

Sounds like you got a rental disc.

I checked the statistics of my correct disc and the faulty disc...it appears that they are the same size. So, the mastering of the disc left out a flag or two.

This was a problem that happened to quite a few people. Rental discs got mistakenly shipped out in place of standard discs.

My copy I got new from Amazon had all the special features listed on the back cover and the disc did say Unrated on it but when I popped it in, only the theatrical version was found and no special features at all. UPC # 883904205982.

I contacted Amazon who promptly sent a new one with a return label and same thing happened on the second one they sent.

I then contacted Fox and sent them the "defective" BD and case. A few weeks later they sent me a new one that did have all the advertised features and both versions (rated and unrated) of the film. The one they sent had the same UPC but was complete.

The printed art on all 3 discs was exactly the same.

It was odd.

Maybe they were rental discs?

Anyone got any info on the re-release from October 2014? It has new cover art and says it includes Theatrical/Unrated but doesn't say anything else. It's 3.99 on Amazon.ca right now and Im thinking of picking it up. I have the DVD already but this is one movie I wouldn't mind getting on Blu. So hilarious.

I ordered the Hot Tub Time Machine on Bluray from Amazon.com & this is pretty much the same version that I was sent. http://www.amazon.ca/Hot-Time-Machin...b+Time+Machine

Despite what the back said there was no Unrated version or special features on my copy.

Hm. Must be why they are trying to offload them so cheap now. I ordered it anyways. Won't hurt the wallet so much if it is only the theatrical version. Shame if it is though.

You could luck out & get the correct version with the special features & unrated version of the movie since you are getting yours through Amazon Canada so maybe they could be different pressings. I contacted Fox Connect so maybe they can help me get a replacement copy of the bluray with the actual special features on the disc instead of only being printed on the case artwork.

I bought what I thought was the the Unrated HTTM Blu-Ray but it turned out to be only the Theatrical version. So, I took it back to Best Buy and they exchanged it for a version that had the Unrated HTTM on it. This February 2015, originally planned for this past Christmas 2014, will premiere the sequel Hot Tub Time Machine 2.

On dec. 26th, this movie aired on TV 3 times in a row. All 3 times I missed the ending. Something kept coming up that I had to attend to, all three times.

How does this movie end? How do they get back to their own time period?

They buy a DVR so they can see the ending the next time they get pulled away from a movie they are watching.

I didn't really like it, but I still want to know the ending. Just spoiler tag it for me.

Recieved my copy today of the re-release of this and can confirm my copy has the Theatrical and Unrated cut as well as all the special features it says on the back. Run time on theatrical is 1:38ish and the unrated cut is 1:40ish. Glad to have finally got it on Blu
