I would've bought more during the sale, but I was tapped out following my purchase of Titanic. I just ended up getting Krull to help fill in my James Horner collection.

I love Krull. Together with Battle Beyond the Stars and Star Trek II you almost have a nice little unofficial musical trilogy.

Listened to Munter, Go Home and Two Mules... twice each last night. Surprised how much I like them. Love the Harpsichord version of the Munters Theme! Probably wait until the weekend to listen to MR so I can ingest it all at once.

I've got both Trek II & III along with Battle, and have enjoyed them. I snagged Casper on release as it's my personal fave of his scores.

I was on the fence about Casper (remember seeing the film at the drive-in), but decided to pass at the time it was released. Might get it later if it's that good. I've only caught glimpses of the film on TV, so I don't recall much music, but Horner's Fantasy/Sci-fi work usually is spectacular.

It's appropriately hauntingly beautiful. It's one of his best in my opinion.

One Last Wish is the perfect track that showcases the recurring motif Horner has running through the film.

Earlier this year they had $10 off the Planet of the Apes set which I bought only for them to then have a site-wide, 30% off sale (over $20 off the same set) within a couple weeks. So I feel your pain. On the bright side, my lady bought me a nice selection from the 30% off sale for my birthday.

It sure is a sweet 4-disc set though and I'm glad I was able to get it. I thought it was OOP.

I would like to get that HP box as well which is listed as temporarily out of stock.

The set is worth every penny, even the frustrating per disc shipping charge.

I'm waiting on a few sets to come back in stock over at Intrada, it's been months and they are still awaiting represses.

That shipping charge is definitely frustrating, but at least they package it well. I cannot tell you how many CDs I've received from amazon in those white/blue mailers that were crushed and had cracked cases. La La Land definitely does it right!

Oh sure they do right, but with shipping being over 10% of the item's price it's a little ludicrous.

I must be lucky, because all my CD's from/fulfilled by Amazon have come intact. Wrong discs in the case, sure, but never less than in good condition.

I don't know if they'll do it again (one of the them said they weren't going to anymore on FSM forums), but if they offer the gift certificates with the site-wide sales it counts towards shipping too. That's been helping me the past couple years.

Anyone have any idea when they'll get the big Harry Potter set back in stock?

Not that it will be a great help, but a month or 2 ago they said there won't be any restocks until early next year. Then again, during the Halloween sale I wanted to order Day of the Dead, but they were "sold out" before the sale, then after the sale they were in stock again. So I don't know what to believe.

Thanks for the heads up. It sounds like they're all over the place because the Titanic 4-disc set came in stock again last month. Just have to wait and see at this point I guess.
