When you look at the revenue for the week of 5/11/2019 and the week of 5/18/2019, there is only about a $3 million difference between them, but the difference in percentage for the week of 5/18 is more than double that of the week of 5/11.
Yes, hopefully endgame will do the same for this year.

May has been a terrible month for new releases, no surprise that sales have been bad.

Surprising to see this much of a drop off. I thought Blu-ray + UHD would be doing better against DVD, but it seems that the pie chart proportions look about the same as last year. UHD shares don't appear to be growing much. I guess we'll see what the DEG quarterly report has to say when it comes out.

Here is the DEG report from Q1 this year.

The link to the written part of the report
https://www.degonline.org/wp-content...rnote_grid.pdf

It doesn't mention UHD disc sales, only hardware growth, so sales probably weren't worth mentioning.

Physical sell-through down 22 percent, which is quite a lot. But box office power was down 20 percent so it's understandable.

Digital sell-through up 7 percent, now at nearly 45% of total sell-through.

I'll have to update my table to see what the breakdown between Blu-ray and DVD is for Q1 (and up till now as well). Been kinda lazy lately.

Ouch!

And despite my buying 40 titles this month, too.

Have to update the table still but here are the grim figures so far for 2019

OD: -21.1%

DVD: -23.9%

Blu-ray/UHD: -17.7% , 46.7% share

A silver lining: Box office power is down a lot as well, -25.6%. So that's the main reason for the steep slide this year. Hopefully things will pick up in the second half of the year.
