Yes. He says budget but boy he ticks some major boxes. Projector tick, powerful amp tick, subwoofer tick and easy control tick. Great stuff.

Thanks for the welcome! My family and I definitely enjoy it. We watch blu rays every night, it's pretty much our time together after a long days work. I recently purchased my first house, and had a second son and had very limited funds for the system which is why I call it a budget system. I did a lot of researching and shopping around. Wanted to make sure I got decent equipment. I feel if you put in the time to really learn about the equipment and be patient shopping, you can piece together a decent set up on any budget.

Agreed. I have a mate that is CFO (Chief financial officer) of one of the countries largest companies. He is responsible for billions of $$ each year. He earns over half a mil each year.

He purchased a very expensive Cyrus music system and asked me to listen and give advice. I had to bite my lip. He stuck it in a marble floor room with big glass windows looking outside. The room couldn't have been any worse. It sounded F*ckin awful. He spent over $30K on it.
It occurred to me that day that any system would have sounded crap. I would rather have a system that you spent time on carefully. Calibrated and took pride in. Rather than a expensive not cared about not calibrated system. Rather often cared for clever setups will out perform other systems ten times their price tag.

By the way. I said it was nice and well done. To him it was all about the status. Not the sound. So I didn't want to rain on his parade.
