Speaking of the armoire....that is a nice looking piece of furniture.

Since someone is going to suggest it anyway, let me say that perhaps a Projector setup would make for a nice addition. You could leave the TV in the armoire and use it for general TV watching, and then drop down the screen for an immersive movie experience. Food for thought, perhaps?
That would be pretty awesome!!!

I understand completely about being on a budget, so I hear you loud and clear. This hobby has a way of sucking out money from our pockets to almost no end.

So, I'm completely new to this whole forum/thread thing...

I goofed and started another thread and didn't know I was to add stuff to my already existing thread...

So anywho...
This is a little setup I have in my bedroom which used to be strictly a 2.1 system

Just check out my gallery...

I'm happy with it I had to go with another set of Polk's too
Big fan of 'em dontcha know

Tried doin the bi-wire thing, totally opened up the mids...
I was rather skeptical however. Everyone has an opinion on it.. I figured what's there to lose, 10 minutes?

Anyways, I'm a believer now in bi-wiring...

Nice bedroom setup I like bi-Wire too but technically all it does it eliminates that jumper on your Polk and give you a bigger gage wire overall, i can swear I have seen performance improvements in speaker just by changing jumpers.

I hope we did not open another can of worms.

I'll go with pro's on this one

"While no one, to date, has definitely proven what might be happening, one plausible theory says that bi-wiring is to speaker connections as “Star Grounding” is to electronics connections. When a piece of audio equipment uses a single circuit grounding point for all of the electronic sections, rather than connecting “daisy-chain” fashion (one circuit ground plugging into the next in a chain), this is called “Star Grounding.” The integrity of each ground path is maintained by individual connections to a low impedance point. Hence, the bi-wired feeling that music with well-recorded vocals is a wee bit closer to sounding “live.” WORTH A TRY!"

Yup indeed Polk in right or else they would not put 2 set's of binding post i use bi-wire myself as you can see in my gallery, by eliminating that jumper make a good difference no doubt in my mind.
