Angry WTF Oreo

Been a awhile since I had some Oreos but saw them on-sale and figured what the heck, the double stuff were always a favorite of mine.

So when I opened the pack and took a few out and ate one I noticed right away these are not the same Oreos I once enjoyed. Much like when Hostess was bought out and everything they made turned to crap, but at the very least I didn't then go on to read complaint after complaint from people on the Better Business bureau with of course almost all the product with problems shipping in from Mexico.

We are talking unclean environments like cookies having peanut butter on them that shouldn't or just a filthy unclean appearance. Imagine if your kid has a peanut allergy and ate one! Half filled containers and I'm talking entire shipments not just a few packs. Product that cant hold together and crumbles by the time it gets to the user. Chemical smell and taste with people violently vomiting after eating. I took the pack and promptly put it in the trash were it belongs and will never buy again!

I think I will call Nabisco and demand my money back along with letting them know what I think about their business practices! it's one thing to change a recipe and make it taste like crap to try and sell off brand recognition. But to be selling product that is potentially dangerous is just unacceptable imo!

My advice to all is flip that box or pack over and make sure it is not coming from Mexico, and that goes for everything made by Nabisco not just Oreos unless you like terrible tasting and potentially dangerous food product!

So damn pathetic that company's like this feel the need to ruin themselves to make a few extra bucks!

Pretty sure people with severe peanut allergies can't eat anything that's been in proximity with peanuts anyway. "May contain traces of nuts".

Did you post the same nonsense in every other post here in the FOOD AND BEVERAGE section then?

Perhaps you should bugger off and not post in this section if it pains you this much!

These were complaints on the bbb, they had to do with Nabisco product and it was something that should of contained no peanuts. The person was irate and rightfully so.

Well not anymore, at least not the pack I bought. The filling was without question not the same as it use to be. Maybe this is only limited to Mexican produced product but something was for sure off imo.

Absolutely. Oreos (especially DBST) are my favorite cookies and I don't taste any difference. This is all in the OPs head.

Me complaining about the taste of Oreo's being odd in the food and beverage section is the strangest thing you have read here, lol ok.

The only thing strange here is the odd fanboy reaction that I have seemed to have triggered here for some reason. Sorry if I have my own opinion about this product and it offends you.

Every pack of Oreos I have ever bought has always been exactly the same. Tasted the same. Same quality. No issues. They sell like hotcakes too, so Iím not the only one.

Wtf does Mexico have anything to do with it? The factories all have the same standards for food to be sold in the USA anyways.

Do you really think someone actually violently vomited immediately after eating Oreos because there was an issue with the Oreos just because you read a BBB complaint on the internet?
