In & Out is the best!!!

I don't even know why Mc Donald's has the highest score so far...try not eating Mc Donald's fries for like 2 mins (after ordering) and it'll be hard and you just want to throw it away.

Crisp, golden, salty, just-out-of-the-cooker McDonald's fries are definitely my favorites.

Close second would be Fosters Freeze. I like In-N-Out fries, too, but sometimes a lot of them are too flimsy, and I have to pick through them for good ones.

The fries at the cafeteria in my building are the best. There are around 900 people in this building and they go through 70 lbs of fries a day.

I have to agree and you can order them extra crispy! One of my things I miss from CA is In-N-Out.

I also make fries from scratch to go with my winter chili or with my fish & chips dinner.

I don't understand why most people think McDonald's is the best. They're just basic shoestring fries. They're nothing special.

Popeye's is the best, IMHO, but that's not listed on the poll. They're very tasty and crunchy. I never have to even put ketchup on them because they taste so good.

If I had to pick from the poll, it would be Burger King. They're also very good, but I just wish they gave more fries. Their large fries is not enough.

I have to be honest and say that IMO BK's fries are amongst the worst fast food fries that I've had.

Yeah I know, that's why McDonald's fries are so delicious!

I do like McDonald's fries a lot better. I'm not saying that they are absolutely the best out there, but between these two restaurants, I'll take McDonald's hands down.

If I go to BK, I'll typically opt for the onion rings because I really don't care for their fries.

Fresh cuts are the best, Five Guys comes the closest to fresh cuts from a fry truck and they use 100% refined peanut oil, not the cheap canola/soybean blend with undisclosed percentages of anti-oxidants and anti-foaming agents like TBHQ and Dimethylpolysiloxane that the big fast food chains use.
