What's ugly about tv sets? We are not in the 90's. They are mostly
Bezel free these days. Honestly, if you care more about how your room looks than watching a film the proper way, bluray is probably not for you.

I found a good combination now for TV watching: netflix + bluray

Only the very best movie (in my cup of tea of course), I purchase them in bluray. And the rest on netflix.

Since I use my panasonic 55'' and sony bluray player, I really enjoy my favorites movies. Most of the time, I trying to buy all movies I like to my local store (when there is big discount on it), and I sold my dvd copy.

Quick question - what's the name of that circular thing that holds the Blu-ray in place? I purchased Michael Clayton the other night and that thing broke and I would like to get a replacement. I remember reading it the other day and I forget.

I'm unsure of the technical term, but I usually see it called a spindle or hub.

Hi, I'm new here.
what do people here think about using a PS4 to play blu-rays?
I already have one (as well as a ps3) and since it plays blu-rays, I just decided to use that to play my movies.

American versions are always reliable and of high quality. I'm afraid to even buy light bulbs in Asian stores. They have a much shorter service life.

I still have this thread bookmarked. Has anyone done something similar for 4K?

DVD to blu-ray in an insane upgrade. Blu-ray to UHD is still an upgrade, but not as great of one.

Default Portable player vs player for computer

This is a question as well, but can't post a thread.

Hello -- I'm not very tech knowledgeable, but am wondering if there us a viewing difference between --
-- a blu ray player for my pc with a 1080 monitor and
-- a portable blu ray player with a 1080 (or lower) monitor?

Wondering if either is worth buying to view blu ray dvds (as blu ray). Any insight appreciated! Thank you!
