How legit is that source?

Can we 100% expect this 6 disc set then next year?

Man 2020 is gonna be EPIC for so many 4k discs and sets!

I’m kind of glad. Life has been feeling rather dull after the MCU dump of 2019 lol

Stuff like this and Back to the Future trilogy, Star Wars and so many more should kick it all back up a notch lol

WB wonít fit the bill for him to do that. He was going to release a super extended cut of the films for the middle earth collection but WB said no.

Does anyone actually have a link for this? All I heard was that they wanted to recut the LOTR bonus materials - NOT the movies themselves - for the Middle-earth collection and Warners said no. That came directly from PJ's home video producer Michael Pellerin in a podcast for the Digital Bits.

PJ needs to edit The Hobbit down to a single film to make it tolerable.

If they didnít do it for the $600 set then I doubt they will do it for the 4k release. As long as I get the extended cuts in 4K Iíll be fine. Getting the super extended cuts is like us asking for extended cuts for Harry Potter 3-7.

It was the movies. I canít find the link but when He confirmed The Complete Middle Earth Collection release he said there was still a lot of stuff cut from the movie and he was hoping WB would give him the green light to go back and edit it all back in.

Peter Jackson need a film editor period! Any director who've turned a simple movie like King Kong, a story that could've been easily depicted in two hours or less didn't necessarily needed to be a bloated, three and a half hour epic.

Yup I 100% agree and very happy that they've finally included a 4k player in their consoles. Was really surprised and kinda pissed PS4 Pro never included one.

The fact that they are still adding drives for physical media is awesome for the industry.

I love digital streaming, but when it comes to 4k the technology physical is the only way to truly experience it's true quality, it just isn't there and won't be for a few more years when it comes to digital streaming.

Yes, it's coming. Most likely 2021 for the 20th Anniversary.
