Or in my case, the movies being half open. In a box, having almost no padding so the discs bounce all around.

I had asked about the packaging a little while back since I was considering ordering more from Bullmoose if they were using those cardboard mailers.

What I was told was that their main warehouse/shipping location for online orders was more likely to use cardboard mailers than the stores. For in-stock orders, there is a greater chance that items will be shipped from one of their retail locations and a bubble mailer is more likely.

With that being said, I have seen pre-orders still ship in bubble mailers. The last pre-order that arrived was obviously sent from a store location since it had a security tag on the back of the shrink wrap. They did have it inside additional bubble wrap, though. It did arrive in perfect condition.

I have had one recently sent in a bubble mailer that did not, though (which is the norm) - the main damage I see is stress creases, which I hate. One recently had a few pretty decent stress creases wrapping around the spine (they replaced it quickly with no problem).

I definitely let it be known how happy I was with the cardboard mailers - I wish they were more consistent with their usage.

Ive have ordered with them for three orders as of now but im very pleased with their service so far. Mostly Blu-ray sets coming packaged in nice box and very insulated from damage and 1 cd that came in cardboard mailer with bubblewrap, no damage to anything.

They seem to have those Sony on Demand discs for 20 bucks and no tax. Not bad.

Apologies if this isn't the appropriate thread to ask in, but has anyone had difficulty signing in to their BullMoose account? I haven't been able to sign in all day despite entering the correct password and email.

Odd, I haven't been able to sign in all day and the site isn't returning any message that says I've entered the wrong email or password. I've cleared my web cache and history and tried with other web browsers but still having no luck signing in since I want to check on my orders. I wonder if there is any site maintenance going on which is keeping me from signing in. I've emailed their help desk to see if they can offer any help.

Nevermind, the problem seems to be solved. For some reason it was showing me as not signed in, but when I clicked the link to my account it shows me as signed in.

I didn't encounter any issues with their website when I logged in earlier today. Their Customer Support is usually excellent, so you should expect a quick resolution to your login problem.

Have you tried it in a different browser?

No problems with logging into my account currently...

Since the start of the new year, I’ve notice the service has gone down hill.

Normally I would have all my pre-orders shipped out Friday and arrive by Monday or Tuesday release date.

Now I’m not getting my pre-orders shipped out until the Wednesday after release date and not arriving till Friday/Saturday.

Not sure what’s going on, but starting to think twice about ordering from them.

Usually retail companies reduce their employees hours due to reduced sales. It happens.

This thread has turned from the Bullmoose deals thread into the "Let's complain about Bullmoose" thread. They're an awesome company and their packaging is no worse than anyone else. I've never had a problem with their packaging.

My orders are still shipping on Thursday or Friday before release. I used to receive the items on Saturday most of the time, but they usually don't arrive until Monday/Tuesday now.

Well lucky you then? Last three orders I've received were very late and the slips were crushed.

Consumers, who could buy from anywhere else online, have chosen them and are receiving subpar service. I'm sorry you don't like to hear it.

I’ve only had one damaged item in three years of ordering from Bull Moose and it was immediately replaced by their excellent customer service.

I’m sorry to hear others are not as satisfied with them, but my advice to them would be to stop ordering from them altogether as I did after too many unpleasant experiences with other outlets, especially Shout Factory. Truly, life is too short to endlessly complain about the same things over and over without making an effort to change the situation yourself.

In addition, consistently trying to discourage others or sway others from ordering themselves due to your personal bad experiences only goes so far. People can decide for themselves between the positive and negative reviews and don’t need coaching in either direction. So far I like ordering from Bull Moose, others don’t. Making an educated decision is helped by hearing other people’s experiences, no doubt, but the responsibility is ultimately yours. Endless and repetitive complaining about the same things without any effort to change it makes a person look as bad as that which they are complaining about.

EDIT TO ADD: I’m not singling anyone out in this thread, just commenting on a general pattern of posting in forums.

If I ever had an issue with Bull Moose -and those are very few and far between-, they sorted things out pretty quickly. And they have always been super cool about it as well.
