Maybe it was the “e-mail change” that they mentioned. Sounds to me like they forced this person to create a whole new DMI account and told them that they couldn’t do anything about their compromised account.

Apparently the overture is missing from the older release? There was a period where the disc was unable to order while it was being fixed. The review says you can still find it on the older one somewhere.

I have a copy that I ordered back in October, maybe? I think it has the overture in the beginning, but if I recall correctly, it's just a long, black screen. I remember it being a little long and boring as I waited for it to be over.

The initial release of The Black Hole had the overture (which plays over a black screen, as in the original theatrical release) but was authored incorrectly so you couldn't access it without trickery. The corrected version plays the overture correctly but you can chapter-skip it easily if you want. IIRC the only way to tell the discs apart by looking is by the codes printed near the center of the disc.

If you have the original release, they'll ship you an entire new corrected copy, so now I've got both in my collection.

For casual viewers, it won't make any difference, but fans like myself really love the great John Barry music.

So... if you order The Black Hole Blu-ray now, it will be the corrected version? Yes?

How long does ticket submission approval take? I submitted my Rise of Skywalker stub on 12/27. Still no points.

I just got credit for my 4 tickets for ROS on one screen shot yesterday. Had to look back when I submitted them, says 12/20.

3 weeks and a day seems like most submission’s wait time. That was my case too

Here’s an odd one for you. Saw Star Wars 12/23, 2 tickets IMAX through fandango, account linked. About 10 days later with no points I figured something was wrong and I submitted screen shots of the tickets. A few dats after that I received 300 points (150 each). All good. Just logged in and I was given another 250 points (150 for one ticket and 100 for the other in points history). *♂️ So many things are odd, one it’s a clear unintentional double dip (I figured the linking didn’t work bc in the past I got points the next day, after 10 days I was worried about the 14 day window), and how 1 ticket was awarded 100 for IMAX but the other was correct at 150. I wish they had a way to show your stubs we’re pending so you know they got it and were working on them.

Nope. I am at 24 days. When I called 4 days ago I was told they were working on Christmas Day submissions. I am expecting I will need to call again to get my points.

I suppose "odd" is one way to describe the process now. I would use a different term.

Agree with this. I had two different submissions pending. When points were issued it was clear there was an error but I didn't know which submission was the problem. What's worse is when I sent them the info they requested, twice no less, I still didn't get the points. It took a call where the rep easily pulled up my submissions.

How about me? My copy has the Black Cauldron overture instead of the Black Hole overture.

How do you request the corrected version as I ordered it on initial release?

Call, chat, or email all seem to work.

Do you know the codes for the incorrect and correct discs?
