Went to 3 near me and nothing new yet. Still saw copies of Inherent Vice out there plus one of Olive's Les Mis from the Nov wave.

Damn, I just lost a big list of everything I saw today because I got logged out. I'm an idiot for working on it online. But anyways, people are posting a lot of what I saw. There's a bunch of other stuff that hasn't been reported, but trust me, it's a lot of crappy stuff with low IMDB ratings. It's just more movies to add to your pile that you tell yourself you'll get to in the next month or year or two. But, of course, there's probably a few gems in there.

I'm trying to remember what would be worth mentioning. I finally found SS-GB BLU (I'm in L.A. and didn't find it the last wave.) Also got Nocturnal Animals BLU. Picked up Richard Pryor: Omit the Logic documentary and The Bill Cosby Show (1969-1971) (Season One) on DVD.

I saw The Judge BLU (w/ slip). I remember people were looking for that one.

There were a few DC animated movies, but those are in every wave it seems, so I don't know if they're repeats or not. But I remember Superman/ Batman Apocalypse and Batman Animated Series: Secrets of the Caped Crusader on DVD.

They also had The Looney Tunes Show & Daffy Duck's Quackbusters.

There was also an animated TV series I wasn't familiar with called Legend of the Dragon.

Other movies I saw:

The Gift (2015) (Jason Bateman, Rebecca Hall, Joel Edgerton) DVD

Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) BLU (this has showed up before but I remember people wanting it)

Focus (Will Smith, Margot Robbie) BLU

There's quite a few BBC documentaries on DVD and BLU. One Life (2011) BLU looked interesting. They also had that Doctor Who 3D that showed up before.

Anyways, I need to log off and drink a beer or something. Good luck out there.

Also, if anybody in the greater Los Angeles area finds the movie KICKS, please post. That's one of the few movies I'm looking for in particular. But if it's not showing up over here, I don't want to go crazy driving around looking for it.

Thanks.

From what I gathered by browsing the last few pages (too much activity for me to keep up with this thread), DTs are now trickling in new movies monthly to various stores (typically a few boxes at a time), but there is no consistent pattern or date of arrival?

For instance, when movies are advertised as the deal of the week (which seems to happen every few months or last BF), I typically call around to find which stores got at least 6 boxes worth (some get less or even none). It was easy on BF because none of my nearby stores put them out early and few people noticed the endcaps on BF, so it was well stocked. Since BF I've popped into a couple DTs and looked around for the elusive endcap and peeked at the few movies in electronics. Each time I found nothing new and very little left. Even all the Charlie Countryman and Guadalcanal Blurays that lived at some DTs for months are all gone.

I'm sure it was discussed earlier that a lot of the movies DT is selling are from Canada. In fact, it's probably all random old stuff dumped by B&Ms in the US and Canada thinning down their movie sections as they head toward their goal of having only new/recent releases. I take it to mean the selection of DT movies will be very random and inconsistent across DTs in the US, and it's basically just pure luck if you go to a DT when a good batch of random movies shows up?

On BF I saw a ton of BBC (and a few PBS) documentaries on DVD. I saw One Life Bluray too, but I didn't buy it having looked up previously that it all footage ripped from the Life series with new narration. There are a couple other BBC Blurays which are just dupes of the prior series. I don't remember them off hand.

I went to the three stores that said they had new movies out. Two of them basically lied. It was the old BF stock I had already went through before. But they did have solar lights so I assume sometime this upcoming weekend they'll have new movies out. However, one of them actually had the new stock as promised and I picked up quite a bit.

Ingrid Goes West DVD not pictured because I had an odd number and didn't feel like taking a singular pic of it lol.

Anyway, here's the typed list:
- Spies of Warsaw blu-ray
- The Gallows blu-ray
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III blu-ray
- SS-GB blu-ray
- Doctor Who: Dark Water / Death in Heaven 3D blu-ray
- TMNT blu-ray
- Entourage the Movie blu-ray
- Shark: The Ocean's Greatest Predators blu-ray
- Duke blu-ray
- Song One blu-ray
- New Moon DVD
- Breaking Dawn Part 2 DVD
- Greatest Leading Men DVD boxset (20 films)
- The Royal Wedding 2 pack DVD - Meghan and Harry + William and Catherine DVD
- DC Superman Doomsday DVD
- Doctor Foster DVD
- Baadasssss! DVD
- The Signal DVD (honestly kind of hoping the blu surfaces since it's OOP and I missed it)
- The Stream DVD
- Killing Hasselhoff DVD
- The Kids are All Right DVD
- Blame DVD
- Tom and Jerry Back to Oz DVD
- Troll Hunter DVD

Went to three stores. Only one had them out. One said the Deal of the Week was the solar lights, another said they did not get in any movies (but who could tell in that rats nest back storage dock of theirs).

Called another store and they said they'd put their stuff if I came by, so I did. They had around 6 or 7 boxes (can't quite remember). Two of the boxes had those large sets in them and the rest were a mix of DVDs and blurays. Very few blurays overall.

I picked up these blurays though:
  • Shark
  • Another Time
  • Heroes: Season 3
  • 7 Guardians of the Tomb (got this on DVD in a previous wave)

They also had one copy each of Monkey King, Brawler, and Journey to Space.

I picked up these large DVD sets:
  • Best of British
  • The Three Stooges
  • Martial Arts Collection featuring Brandon Lee
  • WWI: The Great War
  • Big Box of Action: 8 Movies
(can't recall if someone already posted what the Martial Arts or Action sets include -- if not, let me know and I'll go grab those to post it)

Regular DVDs:
  • Justice League: Gotham City Breakout (w/ Nightwing Lego figure)
  • Superman animated triple Feature (A Little Piece of Home; Braniac Attacks; Last Son of Krypton)
  • The Stream: Join the Dork Side
  • Superman: Doomsday (w/ embossed slip cover and bonus disc)
  • Copenhagen (BBC 2 disc set, also includes Fleming: The Man Who Would be Bond)
  • Jungle Tales
  • Knights of the Damned (w/ slip)
  • Exiled (Magnet films -- Johnnie To)

a sealed in package nightwing lego figure still sells in the $14+ range on ebay. there are chinese knockoff figures for cheap, but the real ones sealed in the lego package are valued by some of the lego collectors.

Went to 4 or 5 stores that had put new stock out. Some Blus, but mainly DVD's. The ones there I would have wanted, I had already picked up last week. The one new pick up for me was One Life in Blu.

Saw some Gravitas Ventures Blu's. Sadly the reviews on them were terrible, or the subject matter didn't appeal, so I passed. For the more adventurous here are the ones I saw. A couple of these are 2019 releases.

22 Chaser
Joe's War
Nobody Famous
Social Animals
Wonder Dogs
Zoo Wars 2

Did my normal ~12 store loop. Overall about half the stores had new stock out. Given the stores which didn't have anything new out were still loaded with DVDs from the December wave. There is no knowing when they'll put anything out.

I had some great luck with this run, while I wasn't getting first pick at any of the stores there was plenty that I wanted. Lots of stuff from the December wave that I didn't see around here.

Thought that I'd picked up "Sex and the City" but I'm not seeing it now that I'm thinking about it. I'll have to see if it shows up at another store. Maybe it fell out in the car.

Not sure that I'll really watch the Gravitas Ventures movies, but at least they have nice cases.
