Just based on opening price and where past ones have ended up, this is where I figure it will land.

heh....kinda figured that, since everyone was sighing about it being such instead of an actual steelbook. I tried to Google an imagine but yielded nothing adaquate. Anyone own an ironpak care to post up an image? Sorry to be a bother.

See Future Shop's TERMINATOR SALVATION thread for more info on IronPacks.

At least it is BD-sized.

I ordered two copies of the 2012 SteelBook both of them came packaged side-by-side wrapped in paper packaging inside a 1'x1'x1' box!

I don't know about people's previous experiences, but their shipping kicks ass now.

As for the price adjustment, you could call or go to a store.

The shipped copies were in better condition than the store copies (of 2012).

I ordered the 2012 steelbook and Term. 4 and they still ship in those thin white/yellow envelopes that they've been using for some time now.
So far I haven't seen any improvement in the packaging.
I was lucky to get them in pristine condition though.

Hopefully I'll get the new improved packaging for Twilight.

If this is your first steelbook or Iron-pack then you won't notice a lot of difference until you hold them in your hand.

If you've owned steelbooks before then you'll instantly notice a difference in build quality.

Pictures won't be as good as seeing them up close.
Just my $.02

Funny, I don't notice THAT much difference between the Steelbook and the IronPack. Sure, the Terminator Salvation one had the defects with the indentions on the spine and the mark on the curve, so it was definitely a step behind, but the HP6 didn't have those issues. It also sold for $24.99 on the opening 3 days. Honestly, I understand people not importing them and paying the premium, but if I had an option of an Amaray and an IronPack, I'm buying the IronPack each time.

I'll definitely be picking this one up - love the artwork!!

Agreed. I didn't have much of an issue with the IronPacks.

I think the majority on this forum are SteelBook snobs.

Wish I could pick up one I really enjoyed the movie in the theatres!
Why does Futureshop have to be so anti-USA?
Why can't they just charge more to ship it to the U.S.?

Who knows.

I'm sure there will be people selling/trading it here.

The question can go both ways too.. Bestbuy also does not ship to Canada thus we have to find ways of importing them here but it doesn't mean Bestbuy in the US is Anti-Canada.. its just how things work and you gotta play the game by the rules laid out

Back on topic, I wish this whole Ironpack nonsence will stop soon especially with that lawsuit in favour of Scanavo that occured in the EU. I guess its import time for me for Sherlock

Given that Canada has a pretty big steelbook market, I would not be surprised if Scanavo went there next, to protect their interests.

I'm sure that losing these Warner Bros. titles stung a little on their bottom line.

It is exactly one week away from release.
Does anyone have information if this is Region free? or Region A?
