You are not alone.

As other pictures posted above, sometimes sleak and plain design cover arts look so much more better.

Are we playing guess the possible Disney SBs still?

You guys missed: TRON and The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010). There *has* to be a TRON BR coming before December's new movie. It wouldn't make any marketing sense if there wasn't one... if it's an SB, all the better!

Oh great. Going by the way Brana and Futureshop operate we should get a confirmation by, say 2011. I seriously think they need to drop their buyer pronto style and replace her with some one who gives a rats arse about us collectors.

This post is seriously offside, like Brana has anything to do with studio decisions, last I checked FS was the only company from all the companies that sell SB's that has anyone talking to the consumers. This is a serious case of shooting the messenger.

That's the thing, nobody gives a rats ass about you collectors. FS is like any other generic business. They're not gonna always be able to cater to a niche group, regardless of the interests of their employees (Brana).

+1, in all seriousness I don't care about it not being released, one less to get, that's all. If I were a huge business I wouldn't give a rat's ass about collectors neither, we are in a decided minority and most of us have better things to do then posting stupid things like that.

It's just a freaking steelbook that WAS NEVER CONFIRMED not beign released.

An unofficial confirmation if you ask me.

She said that it was going to be a steelbook but nothing was signed obviously.

She said something to the effect of "unless a catastrophe occurs...".

I guess one did.

I'm disappointed in not getting one, but happy to hear that we are at least getting ROBIN HOOD, and likely BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and PRINCE OF PERSIA.

I'm sure Brana and Future Shop did everything they could to wrangle a deal. This is a case of Target likely pre-empting Future Shop or outbidding Future Shop.

As others have said, they are going to open Target stores in Canada soon, so it makes sense that they would request NA exclusivity.

Why mourn the loss of a potential IM2 steelbook? The movie was extremely mediocre anways. Just having a steelbook for the first movie and not the sequel makes the first steelbook even more special IMO.

This will be Steelbook for sure. Barring a nuclear explosion or natural disaster that wipes out 20% or more of the world's population.

I think even Ian used his real name as a user name when he was around. Unless his name wasn't Ian and was just a user name. Brana could be short for something or an actual user name.

I also thought Ian was using is real name but I'm not familiar with Brana so I thought she didn't used her real name.

Who knows?

I agree with you entirely... That was nothing more than an assumption based off the success of the last Iron Man. It is all I ever read into it and I had set my expectations accordingly.

If anything I am quite certain Brana learnt a lesson on this one and hopefully we all did too. Nothing is 'certain' until the paperwork is signed and someones paid for it

If anything this episode has probably contributed to the recent lack of posting as it is now a case of 'once bitten, twice shy'.
