Not a SteelBook but I just have to post. Universal has finally announced a replacement program for Gladiator here in Australia and I scoured all the local stores and managed to find the very last Steelcase. These are all but OOP and I managed to find one hidden in a store behind other releases and even managed to get the store to price match to the slipcovered version at another store, almost half the price off!

All I have to do is send the first disc off and then I'll have the best of both worlds - remastered and a steelcase!

I am guessing atexp80 probably also has either the US/Canada or the UK version.

There is a huge thread here on the FREE exchange program for the UK/US/Canada version but you do need to send back the original disk and the studio should send you a replacement remastered version.

My UK Steelbook version is still sealed!! Should I open it and send the disk back for a replacement?????

Btw, that metal slipcase version is also available fro JB. I bought a copy for a member here from JB many months ago. From memory, I bought it for $38? So atexp80 getting it price-matched for $20 is a bargain. Can't remember what ad it was for but as the guy in the ad said "At that price, you are stealing it! :P

KaiGusto finally got a response from Universal. In the Australian forum there's a new thread about the local replacement program which now has an Australian address we can post discs to to replace our AU copies.

^ I'm lost. Where did you get that Toy Story IP? Am I missing something? Is it a US release?
