I'm not fond of their pizza at the Resto (and I work there), but they have these homemade pizzas in their Deli partment that are wicked. Love those pizzas......

I had one of my favorites tonight!

Thin crust, chipotle bbq sauce, pulled pork, onions, pepperjack cheese and mozzarella/provolone blend.

Wow. Joe Chicago looks pretty darn tasty. I say you owe it to yourself to get one of their pies.

You had me at pulled pork. I could take a bath in that stuff.

Just cut a narrower slice.

A deep dish pizza is not a pizza; it's a casserole. Pizza should never be eaten with utensils.

I'm surprised they haven't changed the box yet. Kraft sold the brand to Nestle in January, so I would have thought they would have changed the box by now to not include the Kraft name.

That's the argument often used by New Yorkers when explaining why their pizza is superior to Chicago. I disagree. A deep dish pizza contains dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings, that's a pizza to me.

.....so does every pizza, regardless of crust thickness. The only difference is that a deep dish has lots more of everything (and more, in my book, does not equal better).

What's eveyones thoughts on Pizza Hut's Cheesy Bites pizza?

To me-I don't care for Pizza Hut Pizza, and this looks like a "gimmick" and is a slap in the face of real pizza lovers. This looks like low-brow garbage to me.

Great pizza starts with the crust. There is no crust.

End

I'm not a Pizza-Hut fan either. My kids like it, so we do have to get it occasionally.

That doesn't even look good to me. Pass.

Went to a bday party last night where I may have indulged juuussst a bit too much. These old bones are moving slow this morning. So what's better to clean the cobwebs than a pizza-pie? Nothing. Gotta get the grease up in me.

I'm gonna eat pizza and watch football in my pj's all day.

In honor of PP, I went with a thin crust.

I wonder then, when/where/why the term "pie" was introduced.

Excellent emoticon usage BTW.

So do I. Sometimes I am in the mood for paper thin crackly crust, and sometimes I want a dense heavy meal. As long as the ingredients are fresh and its cooked properly, its all good.

Too much effort to be "unique".

Focus should be on ingredients, texture and flavor, not bells and whistles.

Any good homemade recipes? I am looking for both a good crust and a good sauce recipe. I am sure we have some weekend culinary warriors on this forum that specialize in pizza....

Let you recipes fly!!!
