Both sites list it as Region B. That won't play on my player will it? Plus... how can I buy from those sites when it's not USD? I know that might sound noobish.. but seriously, I've never done it.

Hmm. Seems easier than I had figured... I didn't realize you could just buy with your American credit card and Amazon would handle the currency exchange.

http://www.ehow.com/how_7501019_orde...n-uk-live.html

But that doesn't solve the region thing. I have the Sony BDV-F7 blu ray player and I haven't been able to confirm online whether or not it can/cannot play Region B.

I would buy a Region Free or Region A without hesitation. Where can I get my hands on it? I live in California.

Thanks
eBay!!!

Seriously! I just bought 3 German Digibooks from a seller in California.
Predator, Rambo, Dark Knight(2009).

So you will get your chance on Kong.

Oh, I already own the movies I mentioned on Blu Ray. I'm just putting the American discs in the Digis.

Being the uk release of king kong is region free than most likely the digibook will be also. These are just repackages of the same discs in digibook packaging. Most universal blu rays are region free. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/King-Kong-Blu-ray/3731/ and https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/King-Kong-Blu-ray/39943/

This one indicates region free.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/King-Kong-20...item3f1d5a4f02

But dyyaaammmm. 56 bones USD. For a single disc and a book.
Then shipping and fees and blah blah on top of that.
Probly 70 to 80 smackers. I love this movie but I'm not sure I'm that committed.

If you ordered it from amazon uk it would be around $20.00 USD even with shipping. Universal rarely region locks any of there blu rays. As I stated it will be region free. Amazon UK doesn't charge you until it ships so you can always cancel if you change your mind.

Well that sounds like a far better route than the ebay deal, but the link does indicate Region B/2.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/King-Kong-Li...0656353&sr=1-1

I would like for you to be right, so I will look into it further.

Thanks SoS.

Please, update whether or not it's locked to region B. I'm looking to buy some Universal 100th Ann. digibooks myself, but UK ones seem to be locked to region B. Bummer!

I have to set up a new account with amazon.uk before I can purchase the Kong Digibook? Even if I already have a US account?

How long does it take to arrive here in the States?

Also with all this Region B hoopla, I already own Kong on blu. I will just put my disc in the digibook case. Problem solved

You can log-in with your other U.S. account. When I ordered "Rock Of Ages" in the Purple Case, I managed to get it in within a week with standard shipping.

Thanks for the info!

I just pre-ordered it. Though the final total is still in "Pounds/Euros" rate.

They should be sending you an e-mail with the converted price.
