In a perfect world the wishlist would cause the filmstrip to change to a separate icon and not just a different color so at a glance viewing is clear. I see your using FontAwesome for your icons so "maybe" there's an option for it. I now the choices can be limited when looking for something specific icon-wise. I suppose you could reuse the binoculars here as it's similar to the viewing watchlist. More on the nose would be money or dollar sign. ...or maybe shopping cart.

Blu-ray.com, we aren't mad at you. Thanks for having that feature all these years.

Amazon, you're dumb. You will lose sales this way. For example, as somebody else said, impulse buying when 2 or 3 movies hit somebody's price range. Fine. I'll keep a wish list, and send more of my business to Target

I also suggest keeping the price tracking and just switching to Best Buy. As much damaged stuff as I get from Amazons poor packaging it would be great to have more options from this site.

Yes, I agree. I have 1586 price match items and this info needs to be exportable or you could change to Best Buy info for price alerts. I suspect that switching to Best Buy would be easier for everyone concerned. I will no longer shop for Blurays at Amazon and will complain to the, to tell them so.

If Amazon doesn't want our money anymore, please switch the Price Tracker to BestBuy or DeepDiscount and we can boost their sales every time a good price happens.

If that is not possible, please convert the Price Tracker to Wishlist. I visit that Price Tracker daily to see a list of all the blu-rays I want to buy and prioritize my purchases.

This sucks. I have recommended the price tracking 'tool' to several people, reason why they have registered and visited this website.

I will concentrate all my purchases between Target, Walmart and Best Buy. Amazon is being really stupid right now.

I literally purchase hundreds of blu-rays each year from Amazon based on the price tracking capability that was built into blu-ray.com. I have several thousand videos I am tracking and am on the site several times a day. I look at new releases and determine at what price point I will purchase them. Inhibiting this feature will GREATLY reduce the number of blu-rays I purchase and will also GREATLY reduce the reasons I come to this site.

You do know it's Amazon that's inhibiting the feature, right?

Yes. I am simply stating that this policy will cost Amazon loss of sales and will potentially cost blu-ray.com lots of referral sales (unless the talented folks there can quickly implement an alternative method for tracking price points). I can't be the only one who feels this way.

If it matters, I care less about the price history and more about the alerts provided if the cost of a tracked blu-ray is below my stated threshold. If the problem is the history, can the threshold functionality still be supported?

I have been using this incredible site quite heavily for the last 8 years and it pains me to say how disappointed I am in the loss of this capability. I hope this elegant function is restored somehow or I will need to find an alternative method for supporting my blu-ray binge-buying habit.

In the meantime, would it be possible to re-enable the "Set price tracking" icon (formerly by the "Add to collection" and "Become a Fan" icon) and simply grey out all the price-tracking functionality? That would at least allow people to add titles to a "wishlist" (even if the price tracking functionality is disabled). Currently, I have no way of keeping a list of new wanted titles, which is one of the most essential functions of this website to me.

My number one favorite feature at this site was the price tracking feature. I was so appreciative of the feature that I regularly clicked over to this site to then clicked over to Amazon so Blu-ray.com would get credit for ALL of my Amazon purchases (not just Blu-rays).

Please replace the Amazon tracking with Best Buy or even Target tracking.

To add a movie to the wishlist I click on the film icon (add to collection) and then in the pulldown menu I select wishlist.

I have two wishlists, the default and a music wishlist which I created. The wishlist filter finds both wishlists.

The Wishlist feature doesn't cut it because, outwardly, it sort of appears you own the film. It's too integrated into the films you own features. If Price Tracker isn't coming back then we need a Wishlist feature that functions similarly to the Price Tracker, only without the prices.

The official wishlist doesn't add to your collection total. Any custom wishlist category can also be checked off to not count for part of your collection.

I have added 2 options to the price tracker:
1) Export functionality.
2) Copy all to Wishlists.

When you view your wishlists in your collection in minimal/text mode (3 display options: cover only, cover + text, text only) you will now see the price. We will add better support for the wishlists soon.

The coming improvements to Wishlists is appreciated. My two recommendations:

1) Getting to the wishlist current requires that you click on your collection and then click on wishlist at the top. Why not put Wishlist as a one-click category on the right, just like Watchlist, etc.

2) Items in your wishlist are in BOLD text in the search dropdown. They shouldn't be.

When I'm out shopping for deals, I always refer to my Blu-ray.com collection to make sure I don't end up buying a title I already own. The way I do that is start typing the name of the title in the search box. If I see the title in question in BOLD in the dropdown, I know I already own it.

With Wishlist titles showing up in BOLD too, now, at first glance, it appears I already own them. This is an example:

'Eighth Grade' isn't available yet. I just added it to my Wishlist. Yet, when I start typing the title in the search box it shows up in BOLD, just like all of the titles I already own.

Wishlist titles should either show up as plain text in the search box or, better, show up in italics. That way it would be easy to differentiate owned vs wishlist titles before you even complete the search. With both of them bold, that means I'd have to actually click on the title in the search to see if the little shopping cart icon is visible (which is what shows for Wishlist titles).

You may think... no big deal, just click the title to be sure. But sometimes I'm searching dozens of titles when I'm shopping during a big sale (Target 10% off all movies Cartwheel or B&N Criterion Sale, etc.) and those extra steps for each title would add up to aggravation.

My two cents, now that Amazon has STUPIDLY screwed the pooch once again.

Mark

Would you please fix it so that every Blu-ray can be marked as "not interested". This would make the sort by lowest price a lot more useful. Sure, most of the Blu-rays can be marked as not interested, but none of the multi movie items and a fair number of single Blu-rays (e.g. most of the Gravitas releases)

Thanks.

For the bold in menus, perhaps they could add after the county logo a tiny version of the Movie Collection icon / the new wishlist shopping cart icon to designate the visual difference between the two while keeping both bold. This way you don't have to try and see the difference between plain text and italics on small screens.

Ouch! I just found out what happened, quickly read the posts, but I'm confused. My list of 286 price trackers is completely gone.

I tried the export option but that only generated a list without any titles... just letters and numbers with a price at the end? Would have been nice to include the titles.
