I wonder if these will simply be the 3D segments that were shot for the concert. I'd be thrilled to see a "This is It" edit that was less behind the scenes and did the best possible job of recreating the concert from the rehearsals.

I came across this eBay listing for the above title apparently in 3D i never heard anything about this (i wont link the auction as im not sure if im aloud)

As you will be able to see it has the UK ratings on it

Has anybody have any info on this?

Default 10 minutes?

Am I correct that the sticker mentions only 10 minutes of 3D footage?

I think so at first i thought it said 40 but it think it must be 10 as the vignettes are not that long

The reason i posted this was because i thought you could only get this from China... But this one has UK logos

Personally, I like the fact that we see more Blu-rays with 3D coming available, but I have to say that with so much confusion around already (espescially with John Doe), that we really could do without another variation: a 'partly' 3D Blu-ray, marketed as '3D ENHANCED Edition'...

Is this a promo or an official release? I have seen a few auctions and was curious.

MJ never lost his popularity overseas, this would be a big selling point there.

This should show up in the US next year along with the general release

the 10mins of 3D are the 10mins worth of footage from his stage show that was actually supposed to be in 3D.

most of the stuff is normal 2D but they filmed a few videos in 3D that would appear on the screen behind MJ.

so the way the movie works is it cuts back and forth between MJ performing a song, and the previously-created videos that go on the big screens. and about 10mins of those previously-created videos were filmed in 3D.

as a side note, the best parts of the movie are when MJ is just jamming with the band in between songs. they lay down some of the funkiest, heaviest grooves you've ever heard. you want to get up and dance when they're just messing around.

Europe as well. The US is really the only major market where pop goes out of style at all

This is currently being offered as a Sony Bravia exclusive and has only around 10 min of 3D content.
