Thinks with actual 4k masters, shot with HDR in mind.
It may be a long wait

Baraka re-restored with newer 8k scanning technology and Samsara.

Those would look fantastic.

Basically what everyone else said. All the boxset film anthologies we have triple dipped on over the decades and own a copy of them on each format and will gladly keep buying them until the end of time.

Isn't this thread basically just asking what everyone's favorite movies are?
Why would there ever be a movie that I'm interested in but don't want on UHD Blu-ray?

No, I love 28 Days Later but I don't want it on UHD. I'll keep using my DVD forever.

Seems like it's just a fun thread that isn't talking about players, the UHD spec, HDR, etc.

-The original theatrical releases of Star Wars 4/5/6
-Titan A.E.
-Alien quadrilogy
-Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama, who knows maybe HDR will help with the deep blacks of the film.

You guys mentioned all my obvious choices but there are quite a few UHD movies available on streaming service that I'm waiting to come out on disc this year:

Ghostbusters 1+2
Bad Boys 1+2
Godzilla (1998)
After Earth (I remember this and the Total Recall remake being demoed with the first 4K TV that went on display at Best Buy.)
Elysium
Fury
Black Mass
The Man from UNCLE
Focus
Entourage
Spy
Die Hard

I think it's a pretty good bet that most of the 100+ UHD-BR titles they're saying will be released by years end will come from what is currently available on SVOD.

The good news is that would include a number of catalog titles I would LOVE to own on 4K disc.

Not gonna name obvious releases, which already were remastered for HD, or very recent releases, which all look stellar and first candidates to be released in UHD.

The Matrix trilogy
The Dark Knight trilogy
The Lord of the Rings trilogy (theatrical)
Harry Potter movies
