I can't remember if they bought all the stores and closed the ones close to a Walgreens or they only bought some of the stores. We used to have at least 10 but now there's only 2.

Yeah, some of them are repacked (one I saw had a rental case). My copy of the good Shepard was in itís original seal. Iím going to check the location two blocks away from my place and will update the OP with anything that I didnít mention.

I had a chance to stop in. They had some Disney titles hiding for $10-13 (Rogue One, Maleficent, Tomorrowland, a couple of Marvel titles).

I ALMOST bought the Prophecy collection for $8 (4 movies), but it was movies 1, 3, 4, and 5!!!!

Ha! That was in the Walmart bin for years...

I bought it.

EDIT: At the time (rights issue?), there was no other way to get P2 on BD.

Were the Disney used like Big Lots sells? I’d buy Rogue One if it was new

It had one of those yellow $12.99 stickers on it and was shrink wrapped. Couldn't tell if it was pre-owned or not, if that helps.

Yeah I would have taken the plunge if the proper order was in the set, but I found the 5 disk set for less than a dollar more on Amazon.

I never actually got that 5-disc set, since they just slapped II on a BD, kept the other four on the same disc, and made a new set.

So, I made my own, with a DVD of II I found for $1:

I bought Moana and Doctor Strange from Rite-Aid, and although they had been wrapped and sealed, it was obvious that they were used. The inserts and digital codes were missing.

If you don't mind me asking what good video games have you found at rite aid? My second love is video games and I love collecting for every system I can get my hands on. Have seen some gamecube stuff a year back but nothing worth picking up maybe you got lucky and found something good

The two copies of Rogue one I saw were original shrinkwrap (AKA not a repack). I also saw Air America at another location for $6.99 but it appeared to be a repack.

I found the Fast & Furious 6 Movie Collection (Blu-Ray & Digital HD) at my local Rite Aid for $14.99 after my 20% discount it was $12.71 total.

Also picked up 20 full size Mr Goodbars for $5.40 total. Gotta love those close to expiration date deals!

I think we have ONE Rite Aid left in the entire city, Walgreens and CVS have nearly put them out of business here

Actually, Walgreens bought out a large portion of Rite Aid and transitioned the stores into Walgreens. I imagine that the buy-out also involved them closing stores in areas where they already had a Walgreen presence.

Locally -- 2 of the 4 RiteAid closed since they were only a few blocks from a Walgreens. 2 others which were several miles from any Walgreens have stayed open and are still branded Rite-Aid, but the Pharmacy is Walgreens (assuming their is some legal/Insurance reasons). Luckily I;m near one of those stores and it's several miles closer there any of the other bigbox stores. Lots of older neighborhoods around it so it's a great location for the store even though it's neither on a main highway nor nextdoor to the hospital.

It does make getting in-out far easier esp for the Seniors living nearby.

Great deals on Halloween Candy plus a nice GiftCard stand and Greeting cards center

Stopped in my local Rite Aid as I tend to do, and decided to take a walk down the movie aisle. I saw the usual stuff; mostly $6.99 & $9.99 titles I already own, or would never pay that much for:

Then, I stumbled on this weird Canadian triple-feature:

I already own all the movies on the individual US releases, but I found it so out-of-place that for $4.99, I had to. In the end, it'll end up in my GF's collection anyway. Still, wacky!

Man, you are generous with your girlfriend. If you ever breakup with her, hit me up. While I am a heterosexual, happily married man, I might consider a relationship if there are enough free movies involved.
