While everyone is wanting all these third party games, I just want this, the new 3D Mario and Zelda.

This looks so good though-love that they brought back the Double Dash styled items.

Going by specs , I'll never buy a multiplat game on this ever. The only 3rd party games I'll buy on Switch are the ones that are exclusive to the system.

The Mario game was MK8 with new DLC being played on Switch. The new DLC should be available when the new King Boo Amiibo comes out next month.

To no one's surprise the word 'on the street' is that this will ship with all Wii U DLC plus additional tracks and characters.

Also no surprise that the game is apparently already complete development and could be launched with the system since it was likely a pretty straightforward port.

Nintendo needs to include battle mode also. That was the only thing that kept MK8 from being perfect Imo.

Agreed, that was such a glaring omission.

Here's the official trailer for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I recommend watching it with the 1080p/60fps setting. Looks awesome!

Looks so dope and I'm glad the normal battle mode with arenas is back. I only ever played this a few times on my friends' WiiU's so I'll be excited to own it myself

Will be getting this day 1 for sure. Never bought any DLC so a lot will be brand new for me. Can't wait.

I'd just like to point out how fast the loading time was on those videos. How nice that is!

Had to go over to my folks' house today to fix something on their computer, noticed while I was there that they got a $10 off Best Buy coupon that they didn't need but it had expired yesterday. Plugged it in online and it still worked.

Snagged this for $43 after tax

I'm excited to get back into this. I've been meaning to play MK8 for awhile, but I don't think I have enough HDD space for the DLC. Too lazy to buy an external, too.

IMO it's hands down the best game on the WII U. Whether you're a racing fan or not, the game is just so accessible to anyone. It's just...FUN! I can't wait to play it again on Switch.

I don't understand why this isn't a launch title. It really doesn't seem like they added much over the Wii U version.

Nintendo is just trying to space their big titles out so they can get maximum sales out each one. I get it. Zelda is going to be darn near 1:1 attach rate with the sytem at launch. I don't blame publishers wanting to get out of its way for a while. Besides, I'm not so concerned about the launch DAY output as I am that there's a steady flow of games afterwards. As long as Nintendo can do that, I'm happy.

This is the only Switch launch window game that I would buy (I'm getting Zelda for Wii U). Such a great game and I never bought any of the DLC, so this will be the first game I buy whenever I decide to buy a Switvh.

This right here. If this means we get 5-8 Nintendo made games a year once a month or month and a half I'm fine with that.
