The US art certainly looks more adventurous. I managed to snag a masters edition for my fiancé as well for her birthday, so that was nice present for her to wake up to.

Well the European version is most likely not final, because, unless the person in charge is a complete moron, you don't leave those blurry birds in the foreground.

The Euro version looks like he's trying to take a "selfie." All he needs is for his arm to be extended out, holding an iPhone.

The game file is 13.4GB....or about half of the Switch's available memory for anyone who wants to download it digitally.

Hooray for 32GB decision with how dirt cheap flash memory is until you hit the 256GB range.

Lol there's probably about 25-29GB of actual space if the Wii U is anything to go by.

25-26 is about what I am expecting.

I thought for sure we would see a 64GB model before they unleashed the horror of that presentation on us

As for the game, I thought the file would be in the 20GB area with the way they have been touting how huge the world is. That is a few gigs smaller than Smash Wii U.

Edit: A couple of reports are going around that the game actually performs better in handheld mode than in docked mode as if the system has trouble running the game at a locked 30 FPS at 900p....

Wii U and Switch comparison:

Switch looks to have better color representation than the washed out look the Wii U has and a better draw distance/clarity as expected.

Love the US box art. Has that epic adventure feel to it.

Hopefully this gets people to stop whining about the Switch and saying "I'll just get the Wii U version"

Can anyone find if for less than £59.99? I think the price of all the games is far too high.

wow that's a quite a downgrade for the wii u version..

as much as I'd hate to miss the new zelda on launch, I can't justify buying a new system just for it. so I'll cancel my wii u pre-order and get it later on the switch, maybe in 2018, when there are better games and hopefully a hardware upgdrade or a price cut

Nope (although it is £58 at ShopTo), it's all everyone is moaning about, myself included. IT's way too high and if it sticks at that price then I'm very tempted to not get it all.

I said before that I haven't paid more than £41 for a game in years. I usually get them for about £35-£38 brand new on launch day. Why would I spend £60 on this just because it's Nintendo? They can take a run and jump, they weren't in the position to start price gouging in the first place after the state of the Wii U.

I did speculate before though that they would start charging more for games now that they are back to carts instead of discs.

A disc costs pence to produce the carts costs pounds. I guess it was inevitable they were going to try and rip us off. But that's their own fault for going back to expensive carts.

Could've sworn the Switch version was said to run at 900p.

It does most likely, the 1080p report was retracted.

They only technically said it runs at an "increased resolution" on Switch.

The capture software captures in a 1080p container, it was actually 900p.

It's a shame that there is slowdown during docked play but none whilst downclocked and 720p on the Switch.

It's been tough avoiding details about this one for so long...going to be even harder now waiting until the holidays when I grab a Switch since I expected the wait to be over come March

I am going in as completely blind towards story as possible.

wow that sucks.

I don't think the price will decrease for the switch, thats why im getting it on launch. so basically, i'm getting one regardless, so why not get it at launch and play zelda the best possible way? if i skip it, i'd get one for sure for mario odyssey in the holidays. plus i live for new consoles. very fun trying them for the first time
