Default Wal Mart is selling turn tables!

I noticed it last night. I think that's pretty significant. I forgot the name brand but it wasn't Crosley. They weren't terribly expensive so I'm sure they're not great quality. However, the fact that Wal Mart is carrying them at all is a great sign that vinyl continues to gain more and more momentum. I wonder if they'll ever sell actuall vinyl?

More and more places have been selling Vinyl and turn tables. The chain Boscovs which got rid of their electronics department actually has a couple turn tables which shocked me.

If they start selling vinyl in their electronics department I might have a reason to visit Walmart.

I went to Barnes and Nobile last weekend and, OMG! I thought I had stepped out of a time machine into Record Bar circa 1980!

Ok that was a bit of an exaggeration but their vinyl section has exploded! They last time I was there they had one little display in the middle of the store with vinyl. Now, about the entire left side of their music/movie section is vinyl! I was blown away at how much they had.

No kidding. I felt the same this past weekend. I saw like 5 didn't scores and soundtracks they had that I wanted. I was impressed with their selection.

My B&N has center tables and a wall covered in vinyl now. I'm super excited for that, despite the prices. At least I can get 20-30% off. Beats FYE.

Are they still around? They closed the FYE here in my area several years ago.

We have one left. The rest closed a few years ago. They are overpriced on every thing they sell, but when they finally mark stuff down to 50% (the price it should be out the gate...) I pick a few things up there.

Their main saving grace is they gets tons of exclusive variants for vinyl. I have several sweet looking vinyl exclusive to them. They all cost a decent amount though. Luckily my friend gets the 10% off there.

I disagree and suggest anyone making the investment would be best served by the establishment that serves a customers budget and desires
