Norway Robocop - 2

I bought the remastered edition of the first movie from the US a few years ago and it had norwegian subtitles.
Is it possible to find the sequel on bluray with norwegian subs?
(cant find it)

Don't believe there is one available. There hasn't been a release of Robocop 2 in any of the Nordic countries to date which could be an explanation for the lack of Nordic subs.

I think the issue may be because in Sweden at least the theatrical and home rights are owned by Svensk Filmindustri rather than MGM who own the rights in UK, US and most of rest of Europe.

According to IMDB Svensk Filmindustri own rights to both Robocop and Robocop 2 but for some reason have never released the 2nd film on BD.

MGM won't have included the Scandinavian subtitles as they don't have rights there.

In my experience of a number of MGM releases over the years the Svensk Filmindustri discs are the MGM discs, only with their SF logo on the disc label. SF simply distributes the films in the Nordic countries, whether it is on DVD or Blu-ray. The previous Nordic DVD sets of Robocop 2 distributed by SF had the same set of dubs and subs as featured on other European MGM releases.

I really see no reason to why Robocop 2 would up and drop the subs for the BD, unless someone else stepped in and licensed it from MGM but I don't see any indication of that having happened.
