It missed its 20 year window for an Anniversary release, so we'd have to wait until 2019 for another chance at a sensible anniversary release. And if James Cameron's going to be a household name again, surely he can squeeze in some time for the Abyss and True Lies to get them proper HD treatments.

Got my Trilogia yesterday with the Before set. That has to be the best 1-2 punch in Criterion history.

I'm so behind. Still have to watch my Lone Wolf set too.

I've seen all of the Before movies and Pan's Labyrinth already, so those aren't blind buys, but I'm looking forward to revisiting them in gorgeous Criterion Blu-ray.

I only went through two of my Criterion flicks in my collection so far. I got through Seven Samurai and left off part way through The Hidden Fortress. I've got a lot of samurai flicks to watch and a couple of niche titles like this one. And with me working full time with the weekend off for doing grownup things...watching Criterion flicks here and there in my growing media backlog is a challenge.

Totally relatable.

With the mounting time constraints it's gotten a lil harder watching films.

Also then there's this adult thing about 'being in the right mood'.

Dammit, remember when we were kids?! We would be up for anything.

One of these days, I'll pack my bags & take a trip to the Alps; while there hopefully I'll get to see all those unwatched movies.

I think my current count is near 800 movies and TV shows on DVD and Blu-Ray, with over 400 titles available digitally. My video game backlog is just as bad. I don't think I've hit maybe 10% of all of that. =/

Not a bad price at all for The Before Trilogy. It's only $8 more than the price mistake when it initially went up for preorder.

After getting to use the 40% off Barnes and Noble coupon on a large order during the Criterion sale, I am always on the search to get a Criterion release below 50% off to scratch that itch.
