Default Popular Restaurants You've Never Been To

What are the popular restaurants around that you've never eaten at before or only had literally a handful of times? The places could also be currently in-or-out of business.

For me, most of these are because they aren't located near me:

- Friendly's (I had Friendly's once when I vacationed in Gettysburg around summer of 1999)

- Denny's (Had a handful of times when I visited New Jersey, but don't have it regularly)

- International House of Pancakes (IHOP)

- Dairy Queen

- Cracker Barrel

- Howard Johnson's (Had only once)

- Bob Evans Restaurants

- California Pizza Kitchen (They are around me, just never been there)

- Dave & Buster's (I've played their arcades, but never had the food)

- Shoney's

- A&W

- Chipotle (They are around me, just never had the desire for their food)

- Beefsteak Charlie's (Had twice in NYC during the mid-90s)

Wow, I've been to Gettysburg too I've never heard of that restaurant though.

I'd say the one that I can think of is Chipolte. I've heard Jett talk about it a lot but I've always just gone to its cheaper cousin. I haven't heard of all of the ones on your list. The blizzards from DQ are bomb! Their onion rings are really good too. I've hardly ever had a burger there before.

I'm not sure if I can think of a new restaurant to add to your list. Your thread makes me think it should be a restaurant that you've decided you don't want to go to.

Oh, Togos and Quiznos are two places that I have chosen not to go to because I usually go to Subway. I don't know if Subway is better but it's probably the place I went to first and I'm a creature of habit.

I've never been to Ruby Tuesday. We have one here and their menu online looks okay, but I just don't know anyone who likes it or goes there. Same with Chipotle.

I want to eat at Cheesecake Factory, but the nearest one is like 6-7 hours away.

I'm not sure if I have been to Ruby Tuesdays either. That place always makes me think of Red Robin which I'm also not sure I've been too. I was thinking The Cheesecake Factory when I wrote my reply. I haven't been there more than 6 times probably but I do like it

The Cheesecake Factory is one of the (if not, THE) most overrated, expensive restaurants around. Another overrated place is P.F. Chang's, from what I've heard anyway since I've never eaten there I cannot judge from experience.

Never been to Chipotle and really don't have any desire to eat there, but I do like Moe's Southwestern Grill. FWIW I never really cared for Taco Bell, think the last time I ate at one was 20 yrs ago.

Yeah, I've never been a big fan of The Cheesecake Factory. I've only been there a couple times and didn't think the pasta was any better than a place like The Olive Garden and it was insanely unhealthy. The cheesecake was good but nothing spectacular.

A restaurant that I've always wanted to go to is Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Some of the foods that they sell are similar to KFC, which I like.

Off the top of my head, I've never been to the Cheesecake Factory, Chipotle, Hooters, Popeyes, Del Taco or Olive Garden. Also White Castle because it's not on the west coast.

I have to say that I have NEVER gone back to KFC since Popeye's came to town. I eat more from there than I ever did at KFC. Also, I love Chipotles but I also like that kind of food. Knowing that it's made fresh is great. I love their burritos. You only need one. A friend I worked with was curious about Hooter's and I was too so we picked a date and went together. Neither one of us was impressed by the food but I don't think people go there for the food. She was more entertained by the atmosphere of the place then I was.
