Default The most frustrating thing about frozen pizzas...

Is that 9 times out 10, you have to decide between overcooking it and undercooking it.

Very, very rarely does it ever come out just right.

The crust is either semi-burnt or a soft, doughy mess.

This is my life.

...this is my nightmare.

this might be an issue with your oven. or the brand(s) you buy.

For frozen pizza I usually get Digiorno or (if I can find anything other than cheese) Freschetta. I also don't follow the "place directly on rack" bit that's on some of them, I have a pizza pan.

but anyway, it's still pizza.

My frozen pizzas always turn out fine. It's just a matter of timing I guess?

Frozen pizza hack: I always give mine a good dusting of garlic powder and onion powder before putting it in the oven. It makes every frozen pizza taste more delicious.

I'm not sure when the last time I've had a frozen pizza.. I usually get those huge take-and-bake pies from Aldi, $6 and feeds the 3 of us for at least 3 days. Mind you, after nearly 4 years working in a perishable grocery warehouse I'm fully aware these "fresh" take and bake pizzas come previously frozen, still I've never had an issue baking them (I also don't ordinarily put them directly on the rack, I use a pizza pan)

I cooked a Digiorno last night and the crust was overcooked.

I have a pizza pan, but I guess it don't work no good.

Being a vegetarian I'm sick of pizza as when ever we go to people's houses for dinner the default dish is pizza! No.imagination!!!

But for some reason I love those cheap and tacky savers pizzas you get from supermarkets!

And once in a while I'll have pizza, chips and beans. Lovely!

I've got a pizza stone and several other stoneware pieces. They are great for cooking almost anything! Silicone baking mats are amazing too.

i have a pizza stone, too. i use it every time i cook a frozen pizza. bottom never burns and comes out just right.

hand-tossed, deep dish, thin...doesn't matter. it's all good on the stone.

got a few silicone baking mats, as well. makes doing home-made cookies SO easy. nothing ever sticks.

I always think I've cooked it just right, but everytime I've eaten FRESCHETTA® frozen pizzas I get the squirts real bad.
