They also stopped giving discounts on amiibos. Another thing Best Buy discounts that Amazon doesn't.

I do the same, unfortunately a lot of the more obscure Switch games aren't showing up at Best Buy so it's Amazon or Gamestop. I guess I can pre-order them and contact customer service saying the discount never appeared.

I usually do the preorder swap between Amazon and Best Buy as well unless it’s an LE that’ll be in a large box. Every one BB has shipped has been insufficiently packaged so I’ve been paying more to get it undamaged from Amazon.

While nothing states one way or the other, both should have the same games. I didn’t think I’ve ever seen an LE with more games.
Yeah...so what

Soundtracks like as Tiger scream "Roaring" sounds to your experienced.

Book like as full of cup informations to your learned.

Or

Only game without LE. Short life....

Hmmmm....can't decide between the standard of LE. Big price hike for the CD and book but I'm sure I'll love both.

The shipping killed any idea of the LE for me personally.

10 more games will be added as dlc for free after launch. Not crazy about them not being on the cart (for preservations sake) but they’re free.

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/201...with_dlc_games

Quote:
At this year's PAX West, publisher NIS America revealed an additional 10 games would be added to the collection after launch as free DLC. All of these games will reportedly pre-date the NeoGeo era - with only five revealed so far:
Chopper I
Fantasy
Munch Mobile
Sasuke vs. Commander
Time Soldiers
The other five games will be announced at a later date. Already confirmed games like Ikari Warriors can be seen below:

Not really happy with this news...kinda puts a damper on the release for me.

https://www.usgamer.net/articles/snk...state-function

Quote:
When you enter any of SNK 40th Anniversary Collection's base 13 games, instead of hopping right into it you can select "Watch" from the menu screen. Watch, initially, does exactly what you may assume it to do. It's like sitting back and enjoying a pitch perfect speedrun, only with this you have the ability to inch forward in real-time, hop ahead a few seconds, or move carefully frame by frame to net that ideal screenshot of Princess Athena raising her sword. And most importantly, you can hop in to play whenever you want.
Quote:
It's essentially a super advanced save state. As if someone took the time to save state every single moment of a video game, and let whoever they wanted to have at it. It's not only incredibly useful for new players who may not be quite as skilled in old school arcade games, it feels novel—like you're watching a speedrun at a Games Done Quick event, and then the player just pauses and hands the controller to you through the screen. As if to say, "Have fun, I did all this specifically for you. You don't have to do shit except reap the rewards I spent hours and even days of my life practicing to achieve."
Quote:
During a brief demo today, the SNK 40th Anniversary's Collection's new Museum section was also shown off in detail. A NISA representative categorized the collection as a "one stop shop" to me, gesturing towards lost games that are unarchived that have screenshots and other details in the museum section, as well as the concept art for certain games that was obtained from the artists' personal collections—the first time the art's been seen by the world at large.

Video of the first 5 DLC games

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/201...ames_in_action

Quote:
If you haven't already heard the news, the base collection - which is set to launch on 13th November - is going to be expanded with another ten games set to be added as free DLC. We first heard about this DLC last month, with Chopper I, Fantasy, Munch Mobile, Sasuke vs. Commander, and Time Soldiers all being revealed as the first half of the new batch, but now you can see them all in action for yourself.
Quote:
These DLC titles will be released on 11th December, giving you just under a month to play through the main collection before they arrive. More details on the second batch of five DLC titles is expected to be released soon.

I feel like this is just a way for them to get around the "download part of the game" hate, disguise it as free DLC.

While I'm not happy a lot of it is free dlc I get why the developer did it. They were on Twitter explaining they ran out of time and couldn't afford another delay so they had to make the additional games dlc. I'm getting it through BB GCU and will probably keep my pre-order. I like what Digital Eclipse has done in the past for the most part so they can get my money.

Got my copy of the Collector's Edition. Was playing some Crystalis earlier. Make sure you press the minus button when you start a game up to stretch to "full screen" (still 4:3) The original box is really tiny.

My standard edition arrived at 7:20pm via UPS. So much for their "by 3pm" BS. I always seem to get late packages when UPS delivers. They are wrose than FedEx, even the post office is better than UPS!

Don't forget to update your copies for the additional games. Most of the games are in a regular update. 2 have to be downloaded as an add-on from the game page.
