I guess the rumour about the tease with ash and the new starters could be true after all.

What if the new games actually feature Ash and it is linked to the anime more like a progression of yellow.

TOWN looks like it had some similar Pokemon like animations hidden in there. Throwing a Pokéball for example.

I'd be down for that. The Sun & Moon anime was a vast improvement over what came before. Although, I've been told that the XY anime was pretty solid. I stopped watching sometime during Black & White and never saw any of Diamond & Pearl either. I'm waiting for the DVD releases to catch up later in the year before I check out the anime for Sinnoh.

And today's final "Visit" video

https://twitter.com/Pokemon/status/1100484021589467136

I love the comment they left on this one

With five unique islands to visit, it’s no wonder the lively Alola region is a popular tourist destination! ⛱️ Delicious malasadas and exciting games of Pokémon Base keep visitors coming back!

Which region should we visit next, Trainers?
I guess the brand new 8th region we know nothing about!

I wonder where we're heading next

I haven't played a Pokemon game since like SoulSilver, so my childhood nostalgia would probably make me buy a switch if they made Ash the protagonist lol.

There hasn't been a Pokemon game as amazing as SoulSilver, you haven't missed much. Gen 5 was great, Gen 6 is hit or miss for a lot of people, Gen 7 is disappointing imo.

There have been a couple insiders on Twitter mentioning the UK a lot in conversation about Pokemon so I wonder if it is going to be UK set this time.

There was also the sideways turned UK lookalike map in Let's Go

I'm pretty excited for whatever will be announced tomorrow. I don't want to have high hopes but I do. Gen 7 was disappointing to me and I don't want to become one of those "Back in my day..." people when it comes to Pokemon.

Just looks like another generation of Pokemon to me. The grass starter was cute but I don't care for the other two. Hopefully we get hear what they meant by "challenges" because I'm still soured from Gen 7.

Something new and exciting like BOTW. Pokemon has gotten too comfortable using the same old formula for every region.

Finally another starter trio that I like all three. Just don’t screw up the evolutions

Sobble was my favorite.

Well, size doesn’t matter. The density of content is what does. (That’s why BOTW succeeded- large and full of content.)

Looks like the it's based on the UK to me, I feel like we weren't shown the entire region map. I'm pretty sure off to the left there will be an island based on Ireland, especially if the map in Let's Go is anything to go by.

I wasn't too hyped by the trailer to be honest. I liked it just didn't have the "WOW" factor I was hoping for.

I did like that the trainer was wearing a Pokémon League Uniform at the end with his number on it, is there gooing to be an actual league tournement to win before you face the E4 like in the Anime? Or is that going to be part of an online league with rankings etc?

Still at least 9 months to go before launch and scores of details yet to be released. Can't wait to find out more.
