Im kinda suprised we dont really hear news who and when they are doing 4k remasters for films. I would like to know what gore verbinski had to say to these remaster or somebody who worked on these films...

I Hope these are released soon

Given how much Dolby Vision stuff I've seen on Netflix (the most obscure movies) I wouldn't be surprised if alot of it is just fake HDR. Most of the time it looks as good as the "active hdr" feature on my display.

Iím hoping Disney just doesnít want to put good effort into streaming (unlike vudu) so hereís hoping the discs would look good.

They say it has to do with a legacy deal but I donít see how that would effect it since it was on there from the beginning.

I think that channel messes with the colors, a lot of their videos look off.

Yea probably, but im still not sure how much effort disney is putting on these remasters...

I really like when they announce the remastering like they did with matrix trilogy and getting bill pope onboard or like peter jackson probably haas some involvement in remastering lotr.

I watched the "4k" version of dead man's and it didn't look any better to the blu ray really. They didn't even try with these, I hope we can get discs, these would look incredible.
