Default Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory 1971

Would love to see a 4K rendition of the movie. Itís such a well beloved classic, and a fantastic musical.

My God, I had no idea the movie would be 50 years old in two years! How time flies, haha.

This is a wonderful film, and Wilder’s Wonka is simply one of my favorite performances of all time.

This should look great given the 4K treatment. That tunnel sequence... hoo boy.

I am surprised it’s not out on 4K yet. The colours would be remarkable and would give great meaning to a 4K experience providing it gets the treatment it deserves. I loved this movie, always have. One of my all time favourites. Can’t go wrong with the late Gene Wilder he was one of the finest and direct actors of our time. Can’t praise Gene and the movie enough. Bring it on and take my money. This is a no brainer.

This needs to be on 4k. Such a classic movie, and i could imagine how great the colors would look on 4k format.

I expect a tsunami of UHD-BD catalog titles in 2020 and 2021, including this.

I'd be all-in with a day one purchase but I would definitely temper my expectations regarding the PQ on this one.

We might get Charlie and the chocolate factory in 4K this year for the 15th anniversary this July.

That's crazy it's been 15 years since that movie!

Can't wait for a double 4k steelbook to come out!

I figured it was about that old when I saw it as a kid in the 90s.

Yeah this year will be the 15th anniversary for alot of big Warner Bros movies like Charlie and the chocolate factory factory,Batman Begins and Harry Potter and the goblet of fire. Batman begins released in theaters a few weeks before Charlie and the chocolate factory.
