True and the title of the movie couldn't be more truthful. Spider-Man is really far from home.

Rare for a movie to get a series of cover art this bad. None of it is good regardless of which edition it is or region it's from.

The Homecoming standard cover is even worse than this one. Sony gonna Sony.

Woof. Sorry, Target. You done effed up this round. None of the domestic releases look worth buying from a packaging standpoint.

The book kind of looks like a proper digibook. It's too bad they couldn't just make that the packaging.

Edit: you guys don't think there's any chance it'll be like those Fox digibooks and be a slipcover over a Digibook?

Previous Sony Target exclusives were a booklet included in the plastic, I doubt this will be any different.

Are you talking about Homecoming? That one had a unique cover, and packaging, while this one appears to be mirroring the same packaging and artwork as the wide release. That's the same thing that the Fox Digibook releases did (Logan, Independence Day: Resurgence, X-Men: Apocalypse)

If you look at the pic of the book it looks an awful lot like a hardcover Digibook as far as the binding goes. Certainly doesn't look like a booklet. Of course, all of this could be completely different from what it actually looks like

I was referring to Venom and Spider-Verse. I think MIB is getting a similar exclusive with a booklet?

Oof. Bad cover, ironic quote, no 4K version... three strikes and you're out, Sony. Debating on whether or not I'll even get this in any format at release now because since its not Disney it'll actually drop in price later. Guess I'll hold out until just before the standard 4Ks stop coming with slips.

Oh right, I kind of forget about those when thinking about Spider-man movies. Yeah, you're probably right then.

I wonder if it'll be the same size as the Homecoming exclusive, which was just frustratingly a bit too large dimension wise.

I still don't know which release to buy, all of them are terrible. Steelbook is the ugliest Steel I've ever seen, 4K cover is a close-up of Spidey's face for some reason, standard Blu-ray is crap photoshop and the Target exclusive just sucks.
