Default Ports You Want on Switch

The Nintendo Switch is enriched by having ports of major video games both from the past and today, giving gamers the ability to play more games on the go or even for the first time. Which video game ports do you want to see on the Switch?

I think the Switch should really get The Bioshock Collection, a GTA game (even just the older ones), Borderlands, and the Shenmue Collection.

Pikmin 3
Super Mario 3D World

That's pretty much it.

As far as the remaining Wii U games go I'm shocked we haven't seen Super Mario 3D World show up yet. I would also like to see Xenoblade Chronicles X but I read somewhere that it would take a lot of work to port since there is no second screen on the Switch like the Gamepad, so that one might be unlikely.

As for other third-party games, what I'd love to see:

Batman Arkham games (even just Asylum and City would be great)

Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War (big LotR fan so I really want to play these games but don't have a system for it)

GTA IV

Fallout 3, 4, or New Vegas. Really anything except 76.

Nintendo wonít allow GTA on Switch. I doubt it can handle
GTA games anyway it can barley handle Saints Row 3.

Super Mario Sunshine and Metroid Prime Trilogy, I know it’s wishful thinking but you never know.

It's also been said that they would never allow Hotline Miami, yet here we are.

Not to mention that in the 90s a Nintendo of America rep said in court that Night Trap would never appear on a Nintendo system. They didn't keep that one either.

That was the 90s if GTA was allowed to be ok their consoles it would be by now. And I doubt Rockstar wants to waste time messing with their gimmick controls besides like I said Switch can barley run Saints Row 3 thereís no way it can run a GTA game unless Rockstar lower their standards.

Since the Switch is getting Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, maybe they'll allow for that GTA Trilogy (3, Vice City, San Andreas) on it? Should be able to run those well at least?

Anyone know why Nintendo doesn’t do remake of the old Mario games? Just imagine how good Mario Brother(89) and Super Mario World would look with Mario U graphics. I’m not saying change the gameplay keep it all the same but just the graphics.

Howard Lincoln, NOA President at the time. And he only said it because they killed the deal for a CD add-on. He knew it wouldn’t work on an SNES cartridge, so he said "it will never be on a Nintendo system" as a way to look good in the public’s eye and also to save face (the game was planned to go on the Nintendo CD add-on). Had the deal for the CD add-on went forward, Night Trap would have been on a Nintendo console in the 90s.

That’s what the "New" Super Mario Bros. series was for. To let new players experience a 2D Mario game.

The Mario Wii collection (Galaxy 1+2, New Super Mario Wii), an MGS collection (at least Twin Snakes, 2, and 3, 4 may have too much PlayStation branding to port, and donít really care for 5), Final Fantasy 13 (the only mainline single player FF gamecIve never played) and 6 (with the added features of the PS1 trilogy), Chrono Cross and the Parasite Eve Games (again redone like the other Square games), Metroid Prime Trilogy, GTA4 and Liberty City Stories with some updated features from 5, Earthbound trilogy, a bunch of Star Wars games (in particular Shadows of the Empire and the Super Star Wars titles), and Goldeneye 007 (Iíd argue the greatest Nintendo game never to be re-released).

Any GTA game so far could run well on Switch (the one issue with 5 at least fitting on a cart may be file size but are usually compression options) since it is more powerful than PS3/360.
