Mine says it was delivered but it's definitely not here... first time that's ever happened with Best Buy, hoping it pops up tomorrow!

YES they are doing it intentionally. They send steelbooks INTENTIONALLY in paper f-ing bags. I don't do ISPU because i am disabled and we have only one car, which my wife drives. She's not going to up and leave work just to go pick up a movie. Pull your head out of your A$$. I expect a retailer to send undamaged product and at the very least, have enough on hand to cover damaged shipments. You don't like my "crying" then F OFF.

Those paper mailers are horrible, mine always arrived crushed or dented up with those. I couldn't believe they shipped a stack of three SteelBooks in that mailer via UPS and all were ruined. I have more luck when they ship one unit via USPS from KY, they always use a box and arrive mint. It's hit or miss with getting SteelBooks from them.

It just gets old. I am constantly having to waste gas to return damaged crap from them. It's about 25-30 miles to the store. It's crappy business plain and simple. If they go out of business, then i won't have to worry about buying any exclusive anything from them. At least if you get something damaged from Target, they replace it.

Mine had two small dents under the j-card. Arrived in a box with air pillows.

Will exchange it tomorrow.

I get damaged steelbooks (dents, dings, chips, slashes) in store all the time, so it’s not just the ones being shipped.

I think the poor quality or poor process when produced is the cause of a lot of this. Seems like steelbooks used to be better quality years ago.

So then keep it and fix them. Really not that difficult.

I get sick of damaged steelbooks too to be honest. We don’t know for sure whose fault it is though - a lot of these issues may happen during production.

It's very rare that I pre-order Steelbooks because my Best Buy always has about 10-20 on the shelf on release day. But today, with this release, there were only two!! So i'm lucky I got there at 10am exactly to grab one!!

My ISPU has a big ol' spine slash, but there was a lone near-minty one left on the shelf I swapped it out for. I can deal with a tiny paint chip on a corner.

I usually get new releases delivered on Mondays and today I got my two copies of each (The Jungle Book) and Mal 2 in separate mailers . The condition of the mailers were pristine but I got 1 minty copy of each SteelBook and a spine slash on Mal 2 and a loose disc in the Jungle Book. Sure are nice SteelBooks.
