Default ebay seller Moviemars

Does anyone have any experience with ebay seller Moviemars?
If you order in time will the blu-rays always be delivered with slipcover?
Im sick and tired with amazon and Im now looking for a new supplier with cheap international shipping rates.

They're one of those bulk sellers that list hundreds of thousands of items on eBay, many of which they don't actually have in stock, so they aren't going to be any more reliable in terms of stock and slipcovers than Amazon.

I've ordered from them three times, and twice they weren't able to get the item I ordered, so I had to request a refund after some weeks. A third time I got what I ordered at a good price.

I've ordered from them via Amazon many, many times. Never had any issues with them. I honestly don't remember if I've ever received a slipcover from them; these always go in my recycling bin right away.

Have ordered from them on a couple occasions. Found a rare music cd I was looking for. Took then over 7 weeks as they listed it as back ordered but I was glad to get it as eBay prices were astronomical for the item.

I have had nothing but good experiences with these guys - decent prices, quick enough to ship, and they've never canceled an order. Can't remember anything about slips from them, though.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from MovieMars on Amazon. No problems. Don't know about slipcovers. I imagine that depends on the title.

They're legit, although sometimes they can be slow to ship and don't always have what's in stock that they actually list on ebay.

They're a big seller. I think they have or had a website in the past. Even a catalog.

https://www.moviemars.com/

Like ordering from Deep Discount or Import CDs.

I’m not a big fan of them, though they have improved somewhat over the years. Until Amazon reprimanded them years ago due to numerous complaints, they used to claim everything they sold was “NEW AND SEALED.” I bought a DVD from them that was clearly resealed and had a Blockbuster rental disc inside. It took forever to get them to agree to a refund. This was a common occurrence with them until Amazon told them to stop it. However, they are still muddying the waters as their used copies do say “Used” now, but they also always say “SEALED ITEM.” That’s clearly misleading.

Also, I have found them to take forever to ship stuff. At times they have waited six days or more before getting it in the mail. I rarely order from them unless it’s as a last resort. Good luck, hope it works out for you.

Yes, I've heard that some of their titles are re-sealed used copies. That doesn't bother me as long as they're honest about it, but some feel that they're less than honest.

I once "preordered" an item which they claimed they had in stock. However, the item was never officially released, due to legal reasons. It wasn't the fault of Movie Mars that the item was pulled back, but it was their fault in claiming that they had the item already in stock.

I've ordered some used products from them, without incident.

if u want slipcovers for sure. try emailing deep discount customer service and ask them to check there wherehouse i've done this a few time and they were willing to check for me and email me back to confirm they had some with the cover. after that i placed the order and replied back with the order number and just asked them to make sure a slipped copy was sent and they did no problem.

other then that buying off smaller ebay sellers is the best bet as they will have pictures of the actual item or u can email them and ask.

Yep! Here's their Amazon storefront:

I have ordered from them a few times and haven't had any problems, but that was years ago.

I'm a bit hesitant these days after reading the reviews (92%), but that's just me...They seem pretty legit, otherwise.

Yeah, they're like Blowitoutahere/iDeals and ImportCDs. Not quite on the scale of Deep Discount, but that's the general drift. Not defending or attacking them, just giving a sense of their size. They sent me the wrong item once. But I've probably bought from them through Amazon and eBay many times over the years.

Reliable seller, fairly similar in operation to Deepdiscount and the like.

So that's where all the brand new bds that were actually resealed used discs I bought from amazon (shipped and sold by amazon) last year came from? Amazon needs to ban moviemars if so, or stop intermingling their fake new inventory with amazon's own inventory.

I've ordered from Moviemars years ago, both direct from their site and as a third-party seller from other sites and never had an issue.

I've tired ordering from them one time on Amazon.
But that explains why they never sent my Oldboy LE but said they did ship it,because it never was in stock.
The refund process was good.

I might order from them again only at amazon and if no other seller has
the movie etc. at about the same price.

I did eventually get my copy of oldboy LE for about the same price through
Amazon Global Store UK for around $40.

If you're ordering from Moviemars hoping they'll be more reliable with slipcovers than any other large retailer, you'll probably be disappointed. They're a decent seller but like any bulk seller they're not going to keep track of what has a slipcover, what doesn't, or will likely make a fuss with their supplier if they all didn't come with slipcovers. As others have said, much of what they list they probably don't have on hand anyway so asking them to verify isn't surefire either. Unfortunately, the only way to guarantee slipcovers is to do eBay from small sellers that don't use stock images or buy in a brick and mortar store.

If HamiltonBooks ever changes their international policy they would be a good option. They're pretty much the only retailer I know of that will literally go look in their warehouse and verify if a movie has a slipcover.
