Visited a 5 Guys in Florida while visiting family over Easter; it was fine, but nothing to rave about.

The original Hamburger Heaven is about a mile away...they're pretty much hands-down the best burger in town. And their milkshakes (not gelatinous gum-based beverages) are excellent.

Locally Milo's makes a pretty good burger too, but it's an acquired taste---they dip their burgers in a strange salty-sweet sauce that makes eating a gloppy mess. Great on fries.

You are 100% correct. Sonic Fruit Drinks + Captain is top notch

I've never had it but the people I know that have tried 5 guys said it was good but not great.

also, when I have a real burger I like to have a good beer and that place doesn't serve alcohol apprently

Fuddruckers when cooked properly. I have found hamburgers always vary depending on the quality of the staff and cook. All the Five Guys I have used seem more worried about getting customers in and out the door than preparing excellent food.

Cheeburger Cheeburger makes a great burger (cooked to order so you still can get medium rare if you want to).... and you can get just about any topping on it you can think of..... from the classics like bacon and onions.... to the unusual like pineapple and peanut butter. Really great old fashioned milk shakes and awesome onion rings that don't separate when you bite into them.

Carl's Jr for me, they are a touch over-priced but they always make excellent burgers.

I did try a 6 Dollar Burger from Carl Jrs and that did hold the title for fav burger until 5 Guys.

I ran thru Sonic this afternoon and tried a Cherry Limeade-man was that awesome. Are any other flavors as good as that one?

Best one I've been to recently was this joint called 'The Burger Bar' at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas.

Not sure if it was the burgers, or the waitresses serving the burgers.

For me it's In-n-Out followed by 5 guys then White Castle

For you L.A. people, try out the 5 guys in either Carson or Cerritos. I think they're the only 2 locations in Cali. It gives In-n-out worthy competition IMO
