Default Incompatability issue or a setting?

I have a Mitsubishi WD-65835 DLP television, with which I have to use the 3DC-1000 3D adapter. I also have a Yamaha RX-V663 receiver which is not capable of converting 3D signals.

Up until now, I have had my PS3 operating as a 3D player and it worked just fine. I had the HDMI running to the 3D adapter and an optical running to the receiver.

Now, I just purchased a Sony BDP-S780 Blu-ray player so that I could upconvert my regular movies into simulated 3D. That works fine. Where I'm having trouble now, is that for some reason when I put a 3D Blu-Ray into the new player, I get an error that says it does not detect a 3D set-up and can not play the disc. I don't get it. It's Sony. The setup is exactly the same. Why doesn't it recognize the signal? Is there anything I can do aside from getting an HDMI switcher and plugging in both the PS3 and the new player simultaneously? HELP!

does your Sony BDP-S780 go directly to the TV, or through the receiver first?

The HDMI goes to the 3d Adapter. The optical cord goes to the receiver. I already had to route around the receiver for the PS3.

An idea from reading a part of the 3D adapter's manual: Did you turn the 3D adapter & TV off, then power them up in this order: TV, Sony, 3D adapter?

If so, did the 3D adapter power up automatically with the Sony? If it didn't, you'll need to turn it on manually. If it powers up only when you insert a 3D disc in the Sony, perhaps it isn't ready when the Sony does its 3D-device check; since only the adapter is HDMI 1.4-compliant (the main reason it even exists), if it's not fully up & running the 3D-device check will fail. Turning the adapter on manually should fix that.

Hi.

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 6080se laptop with ATI Radeon HD 6770m graphic card. I managed to make an image file from a 3D disk with another laptop and copied it into my own laptop. Now I'm trying to mount it into the Virtual CloneDrive (5.4.5.0) and play it with the PowerDVD 11 through my Samsung 51 inch 3D Plasma TV.

The problem is, when I open the movie with PowerDVD I get an error which says my graphic card driver is incompatible. How should I solve this problem. Will it be solved if I download the latest driver for my graphic card? If yes, please someone give me the proper link to download the appropriate driver.

Thanks in advance.
