But in no way is it a fan service show.
I considered that, but it's not done in a provocative way. I've seen sitcoms in which the same thing happens, followed by a laugh track when the underwear is shown.

At most, you could consider the hanging from the suspenders in episode 9 as fanservice, except the breasts have no nipples; which would have that scene fall in line with shows like "Spice and Wolf" when she's nude, you don't see much.

I'd say the big difference between KLK and a show like Queen's Blade is that the service on KLK is often played for laughs instead of trying to get your blood going.

IE Ryuko's teacher casually stripping in front of her when they first really meet.

Watched this last week and loved it. No way I'd pay the exorbitant prices for the blus though; I definitely would have supported it if it were $40-60 for the whole series, but that price for 1/6th of it is insane.

Did anybody watch this series on Netflix? I'm having a hard time reading the yellow subtitles on a few spots in each episode. I'm on episode 22 and sure I've got the jist of it but I feel like I might have missed some of the little jokes or plot points here and there. Anybody else have this problem and is there a setting on our smart tv's that I can adjust to fix it?

I hope Aniplex of America announces the release date of Vol. 2 soon (it'll be perfect if it comes out in September). I really, really want to watch more of the English dub.

For the sake of my wallet I'm hoping for October. September is packed enough the way it is.

After they milk this series for as much money as possible, how likely is it they'd do a full series release at a cheaper price?

The awesome packaging for Vol. 1 is upsetting. Would have bought it in a heartbeat if it were the whole series

i dont mind buying it in volumes. knowing aniplex if they had decided to release it whole you would of had to drop like 300 dollars at once maybe more.

We're also getting the Blu-Ray exclusive soundtrack discs on the US Limited Edition sets, so i'm pretty happy with plunging down $60 for five volumes.

I supposed we won't be getting it until October now since Aniplex of America hasn't announced anything KlK related at the moment and if they are going to announce the next volume, it would be near the end of the month since Vol.1 wasn't announced until the end of May.

I can offset the price well enough using swagbucks, but I'm worried that if these aren't going to be sold on Amazon that I'm gonna stop collecting the series since I refuse to pay $50-$80 (let alone $20) for only four episodes. And I'd really hate to only have volumes 1-2 or 1-3 sitting on my shelf =/

The only way you'll see it on amazon is by a third party seller selling it for $100 or more per volume.

What this guy said.

I would get them if I have the money or I would just wait till the UK gets them.
They will be much cheaper.
