Luckily I never had that glitch but I did get the one where I couldn't finish the last
[Show spoiler]tower
section because I had no bullets and for a quick time event they didn't give me "unlimited" bullets like some games do for QTE.

So I had to reload and do that part all over again making sure I saved some bullets for the QTE.

"Blood Ties" is new premium DLC, and will allow players to explore Croft Manor in the main story mode, then defend it against a zombie invasion in “Lara’s Nightmare”. When Lara’s uncle contests ownership of the Manor, Lara must explore the estate to find proof that she is the rightful heir, or lose her birthright and father’s secrets for good. Players can then test their zombie-killing skills in the replayable “Lara’s Nightmare” mode: a haunted Croft Manor where players have new challenges and must rid the Manor of an evil presence.

Existing Season Pass holders on Xbox One will receive the "Blood Ties" upgrade for free.

Nice, now I don't think there is any reason to get this on PS4.

Figured they wouldn't of given us Blood Ties even with Season Pass. Glad that's not true.

Neither will I now either since I just got the Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox One bundle from Best Buy. I only got that bundle since I didn't want the one with The Division, but since it will only cost me an extra $30 to get all of the stuff I actually care about (the co-op is cool, but I don't have anyone else to play it with anyways), I'll stick with it on the Xbox One and cancel my long standing pre-order for the PS4 version.

Very good game. Unless you're trying to get gold medals on every score attack level in Expeditions mode. Then it makes you want to murder someone with a set of steak knives.

Either I forgot how pretty this game looked or the Xbox one S really makes it shine. But holy cow - the ice stuff at the beginning looks beyond AWESOME.

So I just started playing this in HDR, HFR, and Dolby Atmos on the Xbox One X and wow! What an amazingly immersive experience. I’m only up to right after you fight the bear but this looks and sounds amazing. Plus, so far the game has a pretty good story and I’m liking Lara’s character development since the reboot game. Can’t wait to keep playing it. Also, the update file while installing the game was something crazy like almost 70GB but it’s certainly paying off with the visuals and audio quality. It’s the first game I play on this console but it’s definitely a great one to start with.

I’ve been playing the Xbox One version on the weekends only.
Really loving the game so far, but the options to upgrade your skills, weapons, etc is a bit intimidating and complicated. Levels are massive, so much areas to explore. I had to do fast travel, so I could disable the com towers and get the lock pick. I couldn’t figure out the mine shaft, so I had to bail on that one.

I like the way Lara Croft sneaks behind the enemy and breaks their neck.

I am only 22% complete in the game; near the Soviet Installation.

My upgraded weapons are the combat knife, compound and ancient bows, semi-auto pistol and my personal favorite, the full-auto shotgun.
I like crafting make-shift bombs and lobbying at the enemies.

When possible, I always upgrade my weapons with the larger magazine capacity, so I can carry more ammo. And, I make sure to upgrade my character’s health/healing ability first.

I’m about 45% completed. I reunited with Jonah briefly and will now need to rescue him.

I finished what was the most difficult and frustrating level in this game, the Underwater Predator stage. It took at least an hour for me to figure it out.

The fun part was using the catapults and hurling flaming boulders at the enemies and the gates.

I am currently on The Lost City, which is about +-60% completed.

Glad you're enjoying it! It's still a little too combat-heavy for my liking, but generally speaking I like Rise a lot. Be sure to play Shadow afterwards.

I loved the 2013 game, which I played on the PS3. The levels in this game is a lot bigger and with the optional side quests and various upgrades can be confusing. I’m the opposite as I prefer more action and little less stealth gameplay.

I will definitely play Shadow when I am done with this game.

Lol.
I hope it isn’t a lot like The Evil Within, which was almost 95% stealth missions. That game was a pain in the butt.

The main focus of Shadow is exploration, traversal, and puzzle-solving. Combat takes a back seat, especially compared to the previous two games. Most of the combat sections give the option between stealth and going in guns-blazing, though it's obvious that the developers prefer you to be stealthy (as you get gunned down almost immediately upon being spotted). One of the game's most common criticisms was the relative lack of combat, but as a long time TR fan, it's a godsend for me.

Hmmmm.....that game doesn’t look like something that I would like to play. I will check out the vids on YouTube.
I prefer more Gears of War/Dead Space type of action games.

Thanks for the heads up.

I finished the game!!

Last boss wasn’t too difficult. I had more difficulty in destroying the Soviet copter and the swarms of enemies shooting at me. This game wasn’t that long; about 4 weekends to finish. I only managed about 65% completion on the side-quests, treasures and upgrades.

Just my second game that I have finished on my Xbox.

Now, to find something else to play. Hmmmmmm.............
