This discussion has also helped me choose what to watch at home tonight too.
That's cool. I've only gotten into Ghibli in the last few years, but in that time, I've gotten my mom into some of their work. The only one we've seen in the theater is The Wind Rises, but she liked The Secret World of Arrietty and From Up on Poppy Hill quite a bit. And I just recently started showing some of the movies to one of my nephews, but he's a preschooler.

Just pre-ordered this from Amazon. Hopefully we see a price drop! And can't wait to see what they do with the slip!

This looks like a really wonderful Ghibli film. Looking forward to watching this once the release date hits.

If Marnie would actually end up being the last Ghibli movie ever to be made, then at least it was a really good one to finish up with. But hopefully they will get back into making feature productions again sometime in the near future...

Where is everyone ordering this from? I'm wondering if it will be sold in stores. I'm hesitant to order from Amazon as I'm not a Prime member so I won't get it until a full week later (if they continue with their recent trend on my pre-orders).

Best Buy has a seven digit sku. And it does say "Store Pickup: Coming Soon".

Thanks - didn't notice that would love to see a day 1 $19.99 price but I'm guessing it will be $22.99 at the lowest.

This title is $19.97 at BullMoose.com and shipping is free on orders over $25.

I've never seen or been to one of their physical stores, but I've ordered from their site many times in the past and never had any problems. I'm not sure about release day delivery though.

Yes, if I remember correctly it was. I've got a couple of those Best Buy movers coupons so I'll use one of those on release day. Hey even $2 off is something

It was $22.99 during release week. It hit $19.99 about two weeks after.

My two nieces (4 and 2 years old) are obsessed with My Neighbour Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service (thanks to me getting them the Blu ray's for their birthdays), I think Ponyo will be a good choice for them next.

Good, because I totally forgot I pre-ordered this. So I'm getting a kinda big box today with this, Persona 4 Collectors, and the Dracula Supreme Cinema Limited

Picked up my copy this morning off the shelf at Best Buy, for $21.99. They only had 4 in stock. So, I have it in my hands now.

Also grabbed a DVD copy of Heavenly Sword for just $4.99 - can't argue with that price. I watched that CGI movie on Netflix about a month ago, it wasn't too bad - and it has my honey Anna Torv from Fringe voicing one of the main characters.
