DVDs, right? Maybe try Amazon AU? Both did get complete releases in Australia and look to be shipped and sold by Amazon when you click the price options. I don't know if they ship directly to the U.S. though, never imported from there myself.

Personally I'd recommend buying Ultra Adventures on Blu-ray from Viz. Quality looks great on my end and I'm finishing up the second disc tonight.

Interesting that they used the main title theme from the original Japanese score.
(that voiceover though, give me Don LaFontaine any day of the week)

This trailer is great. I love the mysterious vibe the announcer gives off while describing the Unown. Then you've got the classic Dance Mix soundtrack thrown in there, it's all around nostalgic as hell. I still remember the day my parents brought home my VHS copy of this movie. Gonna go spend the rest of the night wishing it were still the early 2000's... lol

This is actually pretty major right here:

Anime Expo will be hosting an exclusive screening of Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution next month. Rica Matsumoto (Ash/Satoshi) along with directors Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonori Sakakibara will be in attendance.

As far as I know, this will be the world premiere, even before Japan. The big news is that it will be SUBBED and not dubbed for the first time in Pokemon history within North America. AE confirmed it on Twitter:

https://twitter.com/AnimeExpo/status...15782406131712

Does this open the door to a dual audio Blu-ray release here? Could it finally happen?

There's no reason not to start putting out dual audio releases. They don't have to stick a big "Japanese audio included!" sticker if they think it'll scare off the moms who buy Pokemon for their kids. Just include it in the specs and be done with it. It's 2019, time to give us the option.

But there's the dub edits, like the different OPs and sometimes slight timing changes.

I forgot about the difference in openings for the seasons. The movie intros should be the same though. If nothing else, the yearly movies deserve dual audio. As long as there isn't any scenes that were cut then the audio would still sync.

Well fans online have synced the dubs to the Japanese Blu-rays so I don't think that's an issue.

No. They did this for "I Choose You" in France in 2017 and they didn't get dual audio later on.

The U.S. could have different results. We'll know next spring when the movie hits Blu-ray here.

It won't happen. I'd love to be wrong but I'm willing to bet nothing will change.

Indigo League got a box set. But you need older versions for the Jynx episodes.

Amazon says that the Diamond & Pearl collection has been pushed back to 8/20

Take this with a grain of salt. I received emails from Amazon that 3 of my Viz manga releases were delayed by a month, only to have them reversed within a few days. Viz's website still has the July release date as well.

The premiere of Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution used the English dub names for all of the characters. No Satoshi, Kasumi or Takeshi.

It also includes the Amber scene which was cutout of the English release and placed as an extra feature on Mewtwo Returns DVD/VHS. This is great news because that short segment is one of my favorite pieces of Pokemon history. I hope it can live up to the original.
