Yes - beware! I tried to confirm with them and the picture is different and now some of the details have changed. It may not be the Blu-ray 3d version. For anyone who wants to make sure they get the true Blu-ray 3D - this is it on ebay:

Yes, the other one is Anaglyph indeed. See also the ones from Asia (like or this one:

On the other hand, the Spanish 3D-BD only has DD 5.1 audio in English, while the Asian one has DTS-HD MA 7.1 audio in English... So, it's a trade-off between video and audio... Choices, choices (or both?)

Cool Anaglypg is very good if made with 1080p disk

First nothing beats 3D if it's either the passive format which Real3D is and which LG TV's are selling as I write this or with Shutter glasses which are the parallax format which Samsung, Panasonic, and others are selling. However Anaglyph, (with is red and blue or green and magenta) is also very good if the movie was made in 1080p sad to say though most are not hence the bad experiences many people have with them. You need to study about these formats before you post something here Ok. Also many people who normally wear regular glasses to watch TV do not use them with the anaglyph glasses they just think they are supposed to use the anaglyph glasses and I know that sounds crazy but I have known a few who did just that until I told them they had to put the red and blue ones over their regular ones. Also you are not supposed to watch Anaglyph in total darkness this also gives you eye strain which can cause head aches. I have many Anaglyph movies and some are in 1080p and are beautiful but the regular 420p ones that are on a regular DVD are not that good and do show ghosting and are not as sharp. That's why I also have a 3D TV and many 3D movies and I have to say the experience is by far better than 2D TV any day. These TV's and players have come down in price considerably this year and the technology has improved so much I have absolutely no problem watching many movies in one sitting if i want to I can even lie down and watch them with the one I bought but usually I just enjoy one or two over the weekend. For me though I would like to see all movies made in 3D and everyone able to afford them that way so there will be much more made and at a faster pace and you have a choice since these TV's play regular 2D also and they do it much better for some reason I am looking into right now.

Now let's have list of Anaglyph 3Ds that also have Real 3D counterparts. Purpose is to inform people that there are two versions and they have to be extra careful when buying the movie. You don't want to pay Real 3D price for Anaglyph 3D picture. There was a time not so long ago when Anaglyphs are limited to DVDs, and hence Real 3D are called "Blu Ray 3D". But now that these Anaglyph 3D are also in Blu Ray, caution in purchase is necessary.

I'll start :

My Bloody Valentine
How To Train Your Dragon
Final Destination

I have an anaglyph BD of Coraline. It's also on 3D BD.
I've got Ice Age 3 on anaglyph DVD, but I don't know if this was on Blu.
And I'm pretty sure The Polar Express is also available on anaglyph BD (this is the difference between TPE 3D and TPE Presented In 3D).

USA Anaglyph 3D, a way of the past...

Now that I have a 3D TV and a 3D blu ray player and able to watch real 3D movies, I get slight tension headaches when attempting to watch any of my anaglyph 3Ds movies. Sadly, I sort of steer away from watching any of the anaglyph 3Ds anymore. I have a few of the anaglyph 3Ds movie and don't have the heart to sell or give them away. Back in the day before shutter glasses, they were the only way that I watched any 3D movies.

Here's a list of the 3Ds that I have. Some are anaglyph.

Anagylph has always be considered "poor man's 3D". I've never seen one that didn't give me a bit of eye strain. I remember being excited when Friday the 13th was released in 3D DVD and pre-ordered a copy. It looked like crap. So when the Blu Ray was announced I ordered it hoping for a better, clearer image. I knew better but I was hoping. The Blu Ray copy looks better than the DVD version but up close anagylph just doesn't work.
I own a 35mm polarized print of Friday part 3 but it's missing the first reel. When we screen that title, I run the first 17 minutes with the anaglyph 3D and change over to the 35mm polarized print. Each guest gets two sets of 3D glasses.....ha ha.

Default What 3d Movies on Blu?

I have tried searching online for 3D movies on BD but keep getting shown 3D BD's. Not what I want. I want to see BD's that come with the paper glasses since I don't have a 3D TV or player. Like "My Bloody Valentine 3D".

Is there a certain way to search Amazon or is there a list of these type movies?

There's an anaglyph thread in the 3D section.

Off hand ones I can remember...

My Bloody Valentine
Miley Cyrus Concert
Monsters Vs Aliens (original release had a short film in anaglyph Bob's Big Break.)
Friday the 13 Part 2

I used to collect these till I get the new tech which by the way is worlds better.

Thanks everyone. I might get one of them but it looks like my best bet is to eventually get a 3d system.

If you use a PC, you can view any 3D BD in anaglyph 3D by selecting the viewing method in the PowerDVD software.
