Sure and I agree that it should be fixed and hopefully they will but to the untrained eye, it's still watchable. I watched them with a few friends and they didn't even notice, as they aren't into the technical side of things like I am.

So I guess it will be down to whoever is in charge of this release and if they know enough about what they are looking for to say "yep, it needs new discs" or "it's good enough, we aren't spending any more on this release" which could easily happen, as this is a cheap release, not a premium set.

The Doctor Who Tom Baker season 12 blu-ray (by the BBC) got a recall/replacement for 2 discs just a few months ago.
