great news. i have the iUSB between my netbook & my nano. i'm not using the "battery" on the nano since the iUSB is connected to a UPS and the netbook is always on. it never leaves my office. i only use it to listen to all the music you see in this thread at work.

it does get better & better with use. wait til you listen to some FLAC 192/24 or DSD 64, 128 or 256

keep us posted buddy. please feel free to throw a couple of pictures of the DAC in place with your gear, we'd love to see it.

Well, I have this baby planted on my desk, and it's not moving from there. I read that you should give the battery a full charge before using, even if it's gonna be hooked up to your pc by the usb all the time. Guess it helps keep the battery from stressing and running hotter at the start. And yes, after my last post I did listen to a bunch of Hi Res stuff, awesome! Was up til 3am, got lost in the music. The amp in this must be pretty powerful, my M50x's only need the eco setting to get enough juice, I put it on standard and it was almost too much, lol! My JVC cans liked the little extra oomph, though. About the iUSB, don't think I would need that, since she's staying hooked up to my pc by the usb all the time, and I don't hear any problems. Heck, after setting this up, I realized how noisy my sound card was being inside the case and not having shielding like the higher priced models. This baby, SILENT. God, I'd love to hear a real nice set of open back phones on this,.

sweet! i use the iUSB because, pc USB power is very "dirty" and noisy; it adds lots of jitter. the iUSB seperates the audio & pc power and sends audio out and sends seperate (non pc) power out on your USB cable that goes into your DAC. that's why i use it, with it, i send, clean USB power with the audio to my iDSD nano. so far, i'm very happy with the combo.
