It wasn't like that in the beginning here. Lots of 2D trolls permeate the threads back then. But you're right now, it's a fun place for 3D lovers and supporters.

Great job by our mods here like the13thman.

Yesterday was a busy day for 3D collectors like me. Sadly I did not win anything as I got outbid from my price of 28. The one I really wanted to get was Beowulf and I went all in at 58 but still got outbid. Below are some of the results:

There were a few other titles that are rare like Charade, Rope, Cape Fear etc. and they also went 3 digits if I'm not mistaken.

I gave up bidding. They always went for much more than they’re worth. I do buy used and make offers to sellers but stay out of bidding wars. A lot of sellers say best offer or even if they don’t I send an email with an offer. Usually get a response. Paid $32.75 for Beowulf (new)in September when I made offer.

Hi president,

Do you look for used copies on Amazon?

Just watched Lego part 2. I enjoyed the one-liners very much

The 3D itself was overall disappointing. There was depth throughout however it switched between fair and good too often. Also there were scenes that were ripe for popouts but stalled at the front of the screen.

But its still 3D, though not one for demo.

The key point is that he is fair. Pretty vital for a mod.

With the exception of Beowulf, everything you've pictured and mentioned is an autoconversion of some sort, with reportedly terrible 3D.

When these were more widely available I bought none of them and neither would I want to buy them now.

How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2
I like the Dragon series more than most Disney/Pixar movies combined. Lavish production design and fantastic 3-D. I still need to grab the third movie.

(Also watched my cruddy Hondo anaglyph VHS tape that I recorded off tv 30 years ago. Paramount Pictures and Gretchen Wayne should be hung by their toenails and flogged for the crime of withholding a 3-D blu from fans.)

Well, thought I would stick a review up of Adam And Six Eves.

Included in the Nude Cuties collection, Star of the show is Adam and Six Eves. It’s pretty lean at just 60 minutes but features pretty impressive depth and one wow factor moment of pop out near the end. The picture is crisp for a film of its vintage and colours are nice and vibrant. The depth as mentioned is impressive, however its limited by the fact it was on a soundstage with at times, quite obvious fake scenery.
Separation is impressive at all times and pop outs are restricted to stuff poking slightly out of the screen, UNTIL the last few minutes when
[Show spoiler]the titular ladies blow bubbles a the audience
. This results in superb pop out as they fly at you from different angles and appear to completely leave the boundaries of the screen. Most impressive.

The film itself is pretty much what you would expect. Tame partial nudity
(breasts exposed) and beautiful woman dancing and smiling often for the benefit of the 3D cameras.
The story itself is narrated by a grumpy ass (literally) who is our host as his human owner becomes transfixed by the scantily clad natives. The ass provides the only dialogue (occasionally quite funny) as the male lead buffoons his way through the film looking for treasure in the female dominated desert/jungle paradise.

It’s not going to win any awards, but as a showcase for the 3D, it works.

I will review the rest of the disc tomorrow.

Rewatched Beowulf. Good movie with great 3D. Only complaint it's a little dark at times. Angie never looked better.

well due to lockdown , i have been buying some more 3d blu rays of films ive had on blu ray in 3d and got rid of.

Yesterday re watched blade Runner in 3d . The first time i bought this i fell asleep and was pretty bored by it . Didnt think the 3d was any good either . This time i made it all the way through . Still didnt understand what was happening most of the time But some of the 3d was very good in the explosions . so will now keep this and re watch in a few more years .

Also re-bought Alice in wonderland in 3d again. Enjoyed this a lot more and the 3d was great ...so will keep this in my collection

Also re-bought A christmas Carol . Great 3d and dont know why i sold it in the first place
