Need new Digital Camera - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys, I had a Nikon P60 8.1 megapixel camera that the lens recently went out on. I think the motor that retracts and extends the lens stopped working but none the less after Frustration and messing with the camera a little bit it is now unusable and there is no fixing it. The camera is a little bulkier than others. I would rather have a more slim camera now, but this one took pretty good quality pictures. But the Nikon also used disposable batteries that i would like to get away from.

Can anyone reccommend a good camera, for under $100??

The PowerShot A470 from Canon is one of the best sub-$100 cameras around. The unit's 7.1 megapixels of resolution are plenty for most beginners, and the A470 has a 3.4X optical zoom lens and a 2.5-inch LCD. It's an interesting-looking digital camera, too, available in blue, red, orange, and gray.

Someone here recommended a Panasonic for a point and shoot camera and they really are nice... I'm currently looking to get one for someone in my family.

ZS3 although its a bit more looks really good, 10.1mp and 12x optical zoom.
