Yes my player has PAL conversion but even though I would be getting more picture than NTSC I prefer to watch things in the framerate they were intended to be seen.
DVDs released in Japan using NTSC just like North America is one of those rare situations that works out well for some of the OVA (OAD) DVD-releases I've purchased like One Punch Man (even if it's actually 24p or 24i but always like the assurance) Good to know about the Australian Monster DVD being NTSC.
